Highly recommend
**UPDATE**08/2021This cover is still on my Bose speaker like the day I made this original review in 2016!! Superior product from somebody who uses this speaker every single dayOrginial review 2016:This company does not claim this item is a "protective" cover. So the people who gave it one star because they assumed it was a protective cover, should change their rating because the mistake was on them. I totally love this cover. It's been on my bose so long, I forgot it was black underneath originally. Definitely fits on it like it's from the Bose factory. I knew i wanted this cover from the moment I saw it. Really good quality. I don't see it coming off any time soon. it is a classic. If you like the way it looks in the picture on the Amazon page, you'll like it on your bose, because it is exactly what it looks like when it's on.And as a side note - I like to bring my speaker with me in the bathroom while I'm taking a shower. Listening to my audiobooks and what-not. I also recommend the AudioActiv REPEL Sleeve. I went through all sorts of BIG bulky protective covers and cases and found that all of them muffle the sound. Then as a last resort I went ahead and got the Sleeve. (At that point i had spent so much money on this speaker i was reluctant to pay anything over $15 dollars lol) It's only function is to repel water and does not muffle the sound one bit. Only thing is the end of the sleeve is a pull string. So it's never fully closed. But again its not waterPROOF, it's water repellent. So it can't be submerged!! But if it gets water droplets over it.. the water will bead off..So I had a little piece of waterproof PUL fabric and I just place it at the end to stop steam from getting into my speaker. I know this review has all of the sudden turned into a review about the sleeve and I'm sorry for that, but these two products are great and I want to share them with you.To me, they are like peanut butter and jelly!I'll include picturesSo if you're like me, where you don't intend of ever dropping it and don't feel the need for big bulky cases, this walnut cover is really friggin nice and the AudioActiv REPEL Sleeve is good for what it is intended to do.

It fits and looks exactly like the pictures show it to be.
I have bought a lot of products. One of my largest reactions to many of them is the quality of the case. I have a set of KEF 104 AB studio monitors that are an example. And a set of Magnaplain 2s that are as well. Works of art in wood and in sound. The Bose Soundlink Mini is a Rodney Dangerfield of audio components. It get's no Respect. It looks ordinary. It's a simple "blue Tooth " Speaker. With amazing base and midrange. and clarity that rivals almost everything out there on the market. But it was a Plain Old Black Box.The Balolo Walnut Cover changes that. Now it's looks match it's performance. Class always is nice.

Perfect fit on my SoundLink Mini II SE and WOW. Love it!
Though I liked the look when I frst saw this product, I resisted, thinking it's just a portable speaker, so no need. Finally broke down & tried it. Short version - just get it.It's a very thin veneer adding zero bulk, a PERFECT fit, does not color the sound at all, is quite easy to apply (& I'm a bit of a klutz), and really makes my SoundLink Mini II SE look like the classy little act it is. It looks so much nicer than I thought it would. And way better than it ever looked without.I cleaned the speaker with Acetone first to get it clean. Aligning it was easier than I thought, probably because it's small enough to easily see how things are going together. I was a little patient, but before I knew it, it was on and done. Didn't time it, but certainly less that 10 minutes with cleaning, drying & applying. I did use the peeled off liner to help smooth it all out, just to be sure. Super simple to do and well worth cost & effort.

Bravo balolo
Very impressed with this thin real wood speaker wrap. I love my Soundlink Mini and this is just the thing to renew my fondness for it. This wrap gives it a retro look like the old wood Stereo speakers of my youth. Plus, it looks richer that the techy dark gray of the original metal casing. Very easy to apply. I cleaned the speaker with alcohol and pressed it on. I sure hope it holds up over time. I take my speaker outdoors often, so I'm not sure how heat or cold might affect the 3M glue.

Perfect on SoundLink Mini II SE
I recently purchased a Bose SoundLink Mini II Special Edition and while the description of this baolo wood cover does not say the SE version will fit, it absolutely does. Before I peeled the wax paper off to expose the adhesive, I checked to make sure the cutout was accurate, the was able to put it on in seconds and it was perfectly done. And it looks amazing when taking a look at it. You need to remember, this is not a protective cover, it’s made to make it look nice; don’t depend on it to protect it from drops and falls.

Cheaply made.
If I wanted a cardboard box to fit over my Bluetooth speaker I should have asked my 5 year old niece to make me one. At least I could have displayed it.This thing is so cheaply made. I refuse to use it so people won't think I'm an idiot for purchasing this shoe box for 23.00
