Better than my iron at work
I'm an electronics technician by trade and love this soldering iron.I purchased this for my home lab. I decided on this iron because of other reviews and the price was within my budget.After many hours of use I am more than satisfied. It comes up to temp quickly, and maintains temp well when soldering non isolated ground plane pads. The tip selection is excellent for a kit.My only complaint would be that the tips take a little bit more time to swap out than I'd like and would be a concern if used in a production setting. But for hobby use, it doesn't warrant knocking off a star.Overall, I couldn't be happier with this iron.
