I'm in love...I spend a lot of time outdoors in the winter, and depending on the temp, had worn 1 pair of medium thermal socks and a pair of liner socks to fill up my boot (reduce empty space) when it wasn't too cold (down to -10C). I had thicker thermal socks for colder weather that were bulkier and didn't result in cold air space in my boots. I didn't like having all these different pairs of socks, but could find socks that were good at most temperatures.What I love about these stocks is that they're bulky enough to insulate really well, but not so dense that they're too warm. They are super comfortable and go high enough up my calves that they're not sliding down during the day.These are now my go-to winter socks.

Been using these socks for a couple of months now and they are holding up reasonably well. They are lighter weight (as advertised) and very soft. Also purchased some Gold Toe socks at the same time and I find these are softer, lighter, more comfortable, and stay up better. The GT socks are fine, but I grab these out of the drawer first!

The 4 pairs I bought in April of 2017 (2.5 years ago) are finally wearing through at the heels. I wear them daily with my Double H boots. They are light and comfortable all year here in central Texas where temperatures stay in the triple digits for 5 months out of the year. The elastic is as perfect as the day I bought them. I am praying that the new pair I am buying now are held to the same quality standards. I will update this review if I find out otherwise as it is not uncommon for clothing retailers modulate their supply chains.
