A: I/m not sure I understand your wording but I think you are asking why 4.92 feet rather than 5 feet.  It's because the cables length is in meters, but for the U.S. they convert that to feet, 1.5 meters is called 4.92 feet here.

The answer to this will depend on the kit you’re using. If it’s a straight choice between coaxial and optical, we’d go for the former. In our experience, a coaxial connection tends to produce better audio quality than optical, allowing for a higher level of detail and greater dynamics.” This quote is from an article published by “What HiFi?”website in a recent article. I have found What HiFi to be a reliable source for audio/video info. The same article states “ And, in our experience, compared to optical, a coaxial connection does tend to sound better. That's because it has greater bandwidth available, meaning it can support higher quality audio up to 24-bit/192kHz. Optical is usually restricted to 96kHz.”.

Ho usato questo cavo per collegare TV al mio amplificatore, essendo audiofilo posseggo un discreto impianto più votato all' ascolto audio che Home cinema, ma il risultato con la Tv è sorprendente. Forse un po' caro ma ho tutti cavi Audioquest e mi trovo molto bene, le differenze si vedono e si sentono.
