Translator's name not mentioned.
This appears to be the translation work of Aisha Bewley but this is not indicated anywhere in the book. The layout and binding is not good.

Truly an intensely profound text. Some translation and editing issues.
About the text:The book is absolutely profound, a must read for those who have attained states of Marifah, who are well established on the path, or have a Shaykh of Fath, that can experientially give them a “taste” of the realities being spoken of.It would be a very hard read and would seem quite obscure to those who are just starting out or have no experiential knowledge of the states being spoken of.As with all of the higher experiential stations, words begin to have less and less of an ability to adequately transmit meanings and so descriptions of realities can start to sound quite strange, metaphorical, and even in some cases blasphemous, to those who have not entered experiential stations of proximity. However, for those who have reached these stations it is a clarifying and very detailed guidance, and these subtle realities and manners of description are clear and sublime. As with most of the works of ibn Arabi, this is not an academic text, and trying to understand it academically and endlessly philosophising over it is a waste of time. This is absolutely not its purpose and you will likely misunderstand what is being pointed to if you approach it in this way. It is a clear guide in experiential states for advanced seekers - a work to be meditated upon deeply.About this version:The cover image is slightly pixelated, and the mat finish doesn’t feel nice to the touch and picks up dirt easily, which is a shame. The text is generally well translated with a few mistakes and issues. These are minor and don’t impair understanding. The layout, general editing, and styling of this version could definitely be improved. Chapter titles, sub headings, and page notes could be formatted better to create a higher quality appearance and page notes could be placed on the same page as the text they refer to, rather than at the end of the chapter as this would aid reading.I have marked it down one star for these issues.
