Excellent value! Great product for an excellent price!
You can spend a LOT of money on a centrifuge for your honey, and that's just not necessary. This centrifuge works great and is very inexpensive.Assembly did take awhile, which was surprising since my husband is a mechanical genius who can build anything in no time flat. This centrifuge took longer than expected, and it turned out that we were missing 2 knobs. I contacted the seller and they shipped the two knobs to me immediately. You can hand-crank this centrifuge or you can attach a drill to power it. We have tried both. Quite frankly, we have found that hand-cranking spins out the honey very effectively in about 60 seconds. The drill just simply isn't necessary. The feet have holes so you can bolt the centrifuge to the floor. If you plan to attach a drill, this is a good idea, as a drill spins it so quickly that it may rock. For clean-up, we removed the crank mechanism on top (which comes off very easily) and wiped it down with a wet cloth (you should not submerge this portion of the machine). Then we tipped the centrifuge with the spout over a bucket and used a rubber spatula to scrape out all the remaining honey. I took the centrifuge outside and used a hose to clean off the remaining honey. Since it is all stainless steel, it polished up instantly. Clean-up is a snap. My centrifuge isn't bolted to the floor, however; if you bolt yours down, you will need to unscrew the legs to remove the main body to clean. However, that's what the knobs are for; you can simply unscrew the knobs, leaving the legs bolted to the floor, and carry the body of the centrifuge outside to wash with a hose.We have only 12 hives and have been using the scrape-crush-drip method for harvesting honey, but that requires the bees to build all new comb every time. Because this centrifuge was only $135, we decided to try it out so our bees can focus on storing honey instead of building comb. It was definitely a bargain and worth every penny. This centrifuge rapidly spins out the honey with a simple hand crank, preserving the comb intact. Clean-up is quick and easy. Our bees are producing honey at a much quicker pace since they no longer have to build new comb.We are very happy with this product. Only $135 as opposed to the thousands of dollars you can spend on a centrifuge, and yet it spins out two frames in under 60 seconds! A fantastic bargain!

WORRH EVERY PENNY!
Product arrived in a well packed boxed. No shipping damage, with all parts & pieces clean and intact. Assembly was easy. Worked excellent. Expect some wobbling at higher speeds if you don't bolt it down, or try to extract only a single frame. Honey gate worked excellent. You do have to tilt the extractor to get the last bit out, which wasn't a big deal. Got all but maybe a 1/4 cup through the gate. The predrilled hole for the honey gate needed some minor deburring. I just used needle nose pliers to clean up cut, and a soft hammer to make the opening more flush. (My mechanical OCD kicked in)Some people complain about the handle spinning off. Just back the handle nut off enough so that the handle spins freely, then tighten the nut against the crank. No issues!Clean up easy for me, as I chose to use my power washer on the tub and frame cage. One thing to watch for is the single ball bearing that rests in the bottom of the tub. I didn't know it was there, and lost it in the grass during cleanup. Just remove it, clean it, and reinstall with some food grade grease. (Yes, I found the bearing)Overall, for the price, this is a bargain! Looks better than the pics, and performs well! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!

A good deal for a beginner beekeeper
This extractor looks like it’s going to work great. Haven’t tried it out yet because it’s not time to harvest from my bees yet. All parts were in the box and did not have any dents in tank. I washed the tank and basket in the bathtub before attaching legs and everything went together well. The only confusing thing about the instructions was the reference to attaching the “hinged “ lids. The two lids do not actually have a hinge to attach them but rather just sit on top I read other reviews that say they do stay in place during use so I think they will do fine.

Great frame spinner for our needs
extracting Honey from frames was so much easier with this. Its well made and works well. we only have a couple hives so we're not high production by any means but it sure helps cut down the work.

Great product. I bought this extractor after harvesting a super full of honey. After letting the frames drain for 8 hours and only getting 12lbs of honey and a bunch of wrecked frames, I decided to buy the extractor. It arrived a few days later in great condition and went together easy. I ended up extracting another 24lbs out of those same frames in about 30 minutes. I love the fact that the basket sits up pretty high so there is plenty of room in the bottom before you have to start filtering. Also love the tapered bottom that helps the honey drain. Only down side that I have found so far is when spinning the handle and you stop spinning it, it still turns (not like a bicycle where you can get it going fast and not whack your knuckles). But would definitely buy again

Durable and Easy to Clean
We just did our first honey extraction using this Honey KeeperTM Pro 2. We only used one frame of honey. The extractor did buck a good bit when I had the handle going fast. Not sure if it was because we only had one frame in or if it just does that. It extracted the honey nicely. The extractor seems to be durable and not flimsy at all. It was simple to put together - only needed to attach the legs, handle, and insert the honey gate. And, surprisingly easy to clean! I took it outside and hosed it down and then dried thoroughly. Very pleased with this purchase.

Worked beautifully & easy to clean
The media could not be loaded. Took me a minute to figure out how the legs attached, but once I got that figured, the rest was east.Easily spin out our first honey harvest and cleaned out even easier with a hose!Great product.

Gearbox failed the second time I used it.
I'm not happy with this product. The second time I extracted honey the crank seemed stiff. I lubricated the bearings, but nothing changed. Eventually, the crank started skipping and not turning without great effort. I opened the cover and the gears have unusual wear. This extractor is worthless after less than two hours of use. There are other extractors on Amazon that appear to be clones of this one. Beware!
