Large works on my Honda 919/Hornet/CB900F. Pretty close in size to Shadow. The bottom is continuous elastic band, so it would handle a broad range of sizes.

The next size down from the one we bought, I would say ..Ours is a ST1100 Honda with fairings and buckets
