I live alone and often end up with difficult to store leftovers or eating the same meal for several days. So, when I saw a name brand of this product on social media I thought it would solve these problems. But that brand was US based and delivery was going to take a while. When I saw this alternative available with UK delivery I jumped on it, and I’m glad I did.The silicone is super sturdy, more stable that I would have imagined, which is great when you’re filling with hot liquids. The perfectly portioned blocks are oddly satisfying to pop out once frozen and then super easy to store in freezer bags. Easy to clean and move on to another dish straight away. All round great product to use, great price, very handy for leftovers or meal prep.

I bought the two pack, these are the perfect size for soup portions! However I noticed after the first use one of them has a little tear, I’m not sure if it was there before or whether it ripped while pushing out the frozen soup

Our two boxes have been well used since we bought them. At this time of year we make many batches of soup and curries from the vegetables we grow in the garden. It's no problem to get the frozen blocks out of the freezer boxes - and easy to clean them. They look sturdy enough to last a long time.

Unlike most silicon containers, this one has structure around the top so it won’t bend all over the place when trying to fill and put on the lid.

Just what I needed for when I batch make soup and stews, gives me more room in my freezer, and so much easier to stack than bowls. I used them the next day for my Red Pepper,red Onion, Red Lentil, chilli and Tomato soup.

I boil down four litres of stock to one litre and fill each (250ml each). The plastic is super flexible so that they come out of the moulds very easily and then I transfer them to mall ziplock bags (two in each). One reduced 250ml is perfect for gravy or soup and these can be diluted again with more water. It is also advisable to get a tray that makes smaller ice cubes for use in sauces and then you will have a constant supply of homemade stock for anything you need.
