Purchased this item, late Dec. 2022, and it was working fine, up until yesterday, July 14, 2023 and when I came home, and pulled into the garage, the light didn't come on, like it normally would. I've had the light in service for a little less than 7-months.I have it on a pull chain, so I pulled the chain to see if it would turn on, and it came on, in the "Always on mode", so I was wondering why it did that, being as I didn't flip the switch on the side of the unit to make it go from motion sensing to off and then always on.So I then examine the switch on the side of the light and saw that it was set to, motion sensing, but the light would not longer come on in this setting.I'll play around with it today, to see if I can get it to start working again, and then I'll do a follow up post. Hope I can get it to working, because it's been great, up until this point.

Bought these for my garage when I was having issues with my garage door opener light. Thought using the motion sensor setting on these would help to turn on the lights when coming in and out of the garage when the garage door opener light was not working.It will detect the motion and turn on when you expect it to most times, however it does not stay on long enough for my liking. I guess most people using the motion sensor would be happy with the length of time but for me it turns off too soon. Would be nice to have a dial or setting to adjust length of time it was on, but for the price I understand why it doesn't have that.The other thing was using it in a garage for me I have a camera down there and the motion sensor would come on sometimes when nothing was moving. I am not sure if it was detecting vibrations from people walking above but just something to note if you are looking to save on power usage.Using them as just a garage light now without the motion sensor they are great, there are times when I won't even open the garage door for extra light when working in there. It is bright enough with it hooked up to light up my whole garage. I also like the adjustable lights to better point it in the direction it needs to go.Would recommend as a garage light but I would be cautious about getting this specifically for the motion sensor aspect, there may be better products out there for that application.

If you need a motion activated light, look elsewhere OR plan on buying installing some type of switch or motion sensor adapter.The light coverage is great. Now I am spending too much time finding some way to make it motion sensing.(The motion sensor works when within one FOOT of the sensor... sometimes.)

Great 5 stars to motion sensor 3.5 stars to brightness for the next reason.. it's being posted as 15000 lm which is the only reason I ordered it. But in fact it's darker than the previous one which is a 5000k cristal cold white 4000 lumens but without the motion sensor. I won't return it but I'm so disappointed on the brightness on this light..Updated 2022/03/10 I'm updating this review with a still 5 stars to the motion sensor and 3.5 to the brightness. Yes it's a very shiny light and I'm not rating 5 stars because it's been posted with a very high luminosity rate which is not. But I so want to recall that this light is much better than any other bulbs 5000 or 8000 white or warm light from local hardware store like ace or Lowe's. This is more similar to a 500 Watt bulb or shiner it won't light up so far but would do great like in a 25 foot radio. Recall I di use this for auto garage which requires a lot of luminosity to see clearer im darker spaces. That's why it's not enough for me but this will be much better like for lighting up or illuminating yards or Open spaces I am pretty sure it will be better for Open spaces than for what I used it or storages one of this will be much we will end don't fiber regular 2000 k regular bulbs. what I expect when my cats are walking outside of the garage this light still turn on im the inside sensing cats through the walls. Some times sensing people walking from there outside or mices inside will also turn it onI've been using it for a few months for about 5 daily hours. And the luminosity keeps the same shiny. Motion sensor works great yes I will recommend it.

This is my second such product. My old one was wearing down. I could be mistaken but this isn’t as illuminating

Works great... when it's working. Purchased Nov 22, 2022 and worked well for the price. Super bright and easy to install and adjust lights. Motion sensor was very sensitive. Wished it had a built-in dusk-to-dawn feature as purchased for the carport and even though I bought a dusk-to-dawn socket to use with it, does not work and just kept strobing (as soon as light comes on, triggers dusk-to-dawn to cut power so endless cycle of on-off). Unfortunately, just suddenly stopped working little over 3 months later and outside of return window so cannot be returned. Cannot recommend.

I have purchased 4 of these LED lights, 2 of them are in my basement, and 2 of them are in my garage. A month into the use of these one of them started to randomly flash. The flash was random and was more like a flicker. Then a second one started to flicker, but has settled down a bit, but still occasionally flickers. I now have one in my garage in which all of the LEDs quit working except the very center one.I was very happy when I first bought these, as both the brightness and the motion detection worked great. But now they are trash.===============================================================After contacting Codaful, they have very quickly replaced both of my defective lights. I did have another one that was flickering, but that has corrected itself. I am hoping that there was just a bad batch of these lights experiencing issues.I am very happy with the light output. The only improvement I can see for these is to make the sensor time adjustable, as 30 seconds is too quick for some applications.Dave
