World War II Fighter Planes Spotter's Guide

Excellent pictures for little boys but grandson isnt much into reading (not yet) . He loves it.

My 94 year old dad who fought at this time, loves it.

my grandson is interested in fighter planes of WW ll. He LOVED the guide book so much , he has not put it down for 4 days. My grandson is 7 yrs.

great book to reference the major world war II aircraft, excellent color drawings.

When will Osprey get some proofreaders and editors? I think this book's concept is good; however, the execution is marred by errors. The first plane I reviewed was the Northrop P-61 Black Widow. On page 223 it correctly states "housing a dorsal barbette of four 0.50in Browning machine guns and four ventrally mounted Hispano AN/M2 20mm cannon." But under specifications on page 224 it incorrectly states: "Armament: Four ventral 0.50in machine guns and four 20mm cannon in remote-controlled dorsal turret". The next fighter I looked up was the PZL P.11. The profiles on pages 236 and 237 are transposed. Viewing the caption and the number on the plane clearly illustrates this. Hopefully, when this book is reprinted, Osprey will clean up all the errors.

Bought as a present but they are enjoying looking through with lots of interesting stuff.
