Collins World Atlas: Reference Edition

Very pleased with this atlas: the print of place names is very clear and the layout is intuitive. I also have a similar-sized Philips atlas with stronger colours but this is much easier to read. There is also well-presented background info here and there, but this is (unlike some atlases!) mostly maps. If you need a quick reference atlas with pages that are easy to navigate, this is ideal. Highly recommended.

Very nice book, hard back and colourful pages lot of info and clear printing. Up to dates work stats will come in very handy in my degree! Very happy with this book. World stats contain social, political environmental factors etc.. such as amount of doctors per 100 people, co2 emissions per capita, fertility rate, morbidity rate, population, predicted population etc, very helpful!! Definitely recommend!

Concise atlas, considering it’s a U.K. publication, randomly looking at U.K. map (and checked index), it does not list Cornwall (found that odd). Overall it’s ideal for quick reference, and suppose it does cover previous country names. Will admit like the sections on world population, staggering to learn what countries out there you wouldn’t think of are massed in people.

Lovely quality,very detailed for anywhere in the world.Magnifying glass is helpful to have for some detail.
