DarcoMed-Surg Shoe, Black, Men's Medium 8-1/2 to 10

I wear a size 10 to 10.5 in women's shoes and ordered the 8 1/2 to 10 men's shoe. It fit me great, and I only had a little bit of extra at the end of my toes. I had a broken toe, so this was perfect to allow me to go to out of the house when I couldn't wear shoes. I did have a little bit of an issue getting it snug enough closer to my toes, but not a deal breaker. I only wore it a handful of times before I could get a shoe on again, and towards the end I noticed the sole/insert part of the shoe (that your foot sits on) was separating from the outer part (that touches the ground). I pushed it back in and tried to make it snug, but with wear it would just pop out again. It could be a tripping hazard for someone injured if they weren't paying attention. The shoe itself is also super stiff. So it's great if you need that kind of support. For the price and my needs, it was a great buy.

I got two of these for my dad after his surgery, he says they are very comfortable. Also, it helps to have one on both feet to walk rather than just on the side that had the surgery so his steps are even.

Just what I was looking for. The original shoe given to me 2 weeks after hammer toe surgery didn't hold up to several washings. I wear a women's 9 1/2 to 10 1/2 in women shoes. The medium men's is perfect!
