Excellent Salamander compared to the Flame King Scorch
So much better than the Flame King Scorch. I returned two flame kings for defects before giving up and trying this instead. Seems like they made a cheap knockoff of this model. From the packaging to the sound of the fans, you can tell this is engineered better. This is worth the extra $80, hands down.This model can run at max temp for 30 minutes, vs the flame king at 8 minutes. The LCD display is brighter and updates the temperature in realtime rather than every 5 seconds, button functions are easier to use, includes way more accessories (and they aren't cheap feeling), the fans are much quieter (sound like ball-bearing fans), instructions are far better written, comes with a 2-year warranty, packaging was way more durable.The only downside is that it's slightly smaller than the scorch. If you compare the ratio between total footprint/cooking volume, this is much more efficient for its overall size though.If you're weighing out the two options, spend the extra $80 and get this one.

Hot enough for a good sear
Too small for larger steaks. Otherwise very nice

Very small cooking area
What the company neglects to tell you is that about 1/3 of the cooking unit is covered with a plate, thus not able to cook. You can only cook 2 of anything, except maybe hotdogs. Difficult to use as well.

Best way to cook meats
I have cook meats every way imaginable. an inferred fill is by far my favorite 🤩. this grill in particular is convenient and usable indoors. allowing me to cook my favorite dishes whenever I want (rain or shine)

Too small
Takes forever to heat up then cooks unevenly. You need to place food deep into machine anything toward front doesn’t cookI regret buying it

It’s awesome!
We’ve had our Gemelli since Christmas and we use it several times a week. We use it mainly for steak, chicken, and hamburgers but we’re beginning to use it for more things now. Everything turns out amazing in it!!!
