Good variety of projects
I’ve been following the related Instagram account and have ordered few things from her site. I’ve been very happy with the things I purchased. I decided to buy the book to get the patterns that she designed. The book has 25 projects and 14 full-size paper patterns. Considering that one paper pattern can cost over $15, the paper patterns alone make the book a bargain. The step-by-step instructions are clear and well illustrated. A wonderful showcase for these beautiful fabrics!

Lovely sewing pattern book
This is a lovely sewing book with plenty of sewing patterns. They are easy to follow patterns.I have also given this as a present for a friend who wanted to pick up sewing again.

Really cool book!
I just got this, so I have not made any projects from it yet! That being said, I wanted to leave a review because this book looks really cool. African wax print fabrics are lovely, and I’d like to find some to use with these patterns, but the patterns will look great with any woven fabric. The book is nicely laid out, with great illustrations (in color, as are the pattern pages, which is awesome!) and the instructions look really well written and clear. The clothes (and bags and accessories) are nicely designed and not very complicated, which will really let fabric choices shine (although there are a few more complex choices). Going to point out that I think ALMOST EVERYTHING HAS POCKETS! Nice.

A little jewel!
This is a marvellous book!I was looking for some easy sewing projects for the African wax prints that I collected over the years, and it had a very long time since I did any machine sewing at all.First of, I really enjoyed the introduction in which the fascinating history and the technique of wax printing was described; I'd have loved to read on about the meaning of patterns and symbols! I bet the author can write a separate book about it.What I like about this book is the clear language, the drawings, the variety of projects (skirts, dresses, bags, and even a face mask) and the more in depth section about sewing techniques, and... inches are (thanks for that) translated to centimetres. In fact I'm really happy that this book includes it all. Highly recommended for all levels.
