Gigantosaurus: Dino Spot - World Book Day 2021

Easy book to read. Great pictures. Nice Book.

This book is getting quite a bit of flak for not having the correct names or being in the spirit of Gigantosaurus. However it uses the original names of the Gigantosaurus book before they made a TV show and changed things up. It’s also very much in the spirit of the original book and again features great artwork.My only complaint is they do mix the names up on one page where Rocky is referred to as Bill which is disappointing. All in all though I think it’s well worth the £1 and I preferred this book to the other ones we have based on the TV show. Those stories all seem to follows the story from one of the episodes rather than featuring a new story.

Perfect for a young child with short attention span as a very short story. Good for £1.

Lovely little book, I bought it for my grandson who is almost4. He loves it and finds the ending very funny,It is a surprise but I won’t spoil it!Loved it.

For £1 this a good little book, both my toddlers love the original gigantosaurus book and this is a nice short follow on.A lot of the other reviews here are clearly from people who have only seen the cartoon based off the original book and not actually read the original gigantosaurus.I would highly recommend the original gigantosaurus book to anyone whose children like dinosaurs or have watched the cartoon. The names are different to the cartoon with bonehead instead of mazu and the others names being changed around (no idea why they did that for the cartoon, the original names made more sense )

Gigantosarus has been a favourite book of my now 6 year old for most of his life. We're big fans of Jonny Duddle and are delighted that this World Book Day offering has the original character names (Bonehead and Bill) rather than those of the TV series. I mistakenly bought one of the TV tie in books and my son was not at all impressed.Yes it's small (and only £1!) but fantastic if your child is familiar with the original book.

A world book day special. Thank you for a shirt but sweet introduction to this author. My kids have loved this story. We have since purchased a few more books written by this author. Perfect for bedtime or quiet time in the afternoon. Very well written and contains very detailed illustrations Perfectly pitch for five to eight year old. I'd highly recommend it.

For ppl complaining about names being changed. The original first book gigantosaurus all the names are the same the tv series is based off the book therefore its in fact the tv show that's changed the names. Its a great book and for a £1 cannot complain. Would recommend buying the first original book also.
