Great for kids
Got this for my son who loves putting things together. He was super excited to build things. His favorite was the arm that actually worked.

Nice set
This gadgets kit was great. It was so educational and so fun for them to make.We really like science kits. I would much prefer them doing something than watching something. Science is such an important subject, and I really like that they can learn about it.It is nice because they can spend the time doing it. They are excited when they make something themselves. They love to make new discoveries.

I’m not sure how this has such good reviews.
This had promise but pieces were missing, instructions unclear. It was just a big mess and frustration even for my husband and myself. It went into the trash.

Sneak some science in with these low-key but fun 'steam' projects
I like these kinds of kits that have activities/projects that can be assembled and played with, without having to get a science lecture... but also giving the opportunity to explore the science more if the child is particularly interested in how or why something works the way it does. The fact that there is a certain amount of flexibility with how you do each project is great, it gives the kid a change to "be an engineer" and solve problems. [Is that C battery making the cup fall to one side? Maybe adjusting the height of the markers will help... What happens when you move the fulcrum point, will the catapult throw that marshmallow further?]I thought some of the instructions were a little hard to read and/or follow. Why do you say "C battery" but the diagram clearly shows an AA battery? In a couple of cases the color choices made it hard to see the diagram properly (What are they doing with that paperclip??)Our not-too-sciency 8-y-o needed assistance with some of the projects... so whichever reviewer's 5 year old was whizzing through them solo, sign that kid up for a science magnet stat!Fun experiments made of cheap ingredients, supplemented by items you should have around the home (tape, a battery, scissors, etc.) perhaps shouldn't have a $35 price point. But reservedly recommended nonetheless.

Great summer fun for the kids!
My 7 & 11 year old are having a great time working through the projects from this kit. They do need my help getting going with most projects, but it really is helping them move towards independence and problem solving. The projects are simple and good for about an hours worth of engagement for each activity. The supplies from the household to complete the projects are super simple and all things that we have on hand. In fact they have had a great time swapping out different supplies to get a fresh take on the different projects.

Fun Set
This is a fun learning set. I homeschool my kids so I always appreciate fun learning activities to do with them. I love that it isn't necessarily a certain designed thing you are making, but the kids can use their imagination to create things. I do feel like the price might be a bit high for the items that are included and would probably be cheaper to buy some of the products individually, but I think the fact that it comes in a premed set with all of the printed out the materials to go along with it make it worth it.

My kid loves it
My kid loves to do any experiment and I am the one who needs to prepare all the materials. I love this kit. It save my time and I can just do the experiment right from the box.
