Amazing! What fresh Albacore should taste like!
So, I am mostly vegan but eat Tuna every so often to boost protein. A friend sent me some 365 Albacore Tuna, which was okay, but nothing special. Then I learned more about sustainability and tried WildPlanet, which was pink (not solid white) and smaller chunks with some ground tuna in every can that looked like cat food โโ not a fan. Meanwhile, WildPlanet had a fishy smell that wasn't appetizing to me. Upon further research, I came across Raincoast Trading and just ... Wow! I received all 12 cans the next day, none were damaged. I opened my first can and it was all chunks of Albacore, solid white. To my surprise, no fishy smell and no ground-up tuna resembling cat food. Once I fluffed it out a bit, I added some Inglehoffer Mustard, Sweet Honey, and there's no going back! The consistency is excellent, that of chicken really, and you can tell it's high quality โ hence the price. My pups even loved it. It's a nice treat for them as well. Definitely going to order this regularly as it's the only tuna I've found palatable. This is the best tuna I've ever had and there's no going back to generic store brands.

Delicious tuna
Delicious tuna. Right out of the waters of Alaska. I wouldnโt buy any other. If you look up the origin of a lot of the other brands, you wouldnโt eat them.

VERY YUMMY TUNA!
Always yummy tuna. Much better than any Tuna in a can out there. A little pricey, but we buy a case at a time. We treat ourselves to a can or two from it when we want to have some nice tuna salad. You can't go wrong... And it's sustainable. It gets the highest marks from the NOAA office if sustainable fishing, among others.

Just received... See below!
These past several years I have been looking at the different tuna brands, so far I have tested wild planet and safe catch. They taste alright but they are processed in vietnam and thailand. To be honest, I'm just looking for American Made, American Caught, American Processed etc. products. I just received my first raincoast tuna (American caught, canadian processed) order and it wasn't as great as expected, for the price, it was more fishy than the other two I have tried. I also ordered American tuna (all American caught and processed), which is the most expensive of all, and will be giving it a try as soon as I receive. There is another one I am looking to try, called Sea Fare Pacific tuna (all American caught and processed) which states their tuna has very low mercury due to it being young tuna. They also state that they only cook their tuna once, unlike most others who twice cook it.

The flavor is pure and clean
In my experience the tuna has always been 1 large piece with no little bits or pieces. This tuna seems to be cooked in its own juices and fat with nothing else added. The flavor is pure and clean and that of tuna, not the can or added ingredients. While this is no ventresca, it is certainly a nice alternative when you want something to include in a salad or put on a sandwich.

Premium Tuna...Maybe S/B A Discount
I first saw this tuna on the Travel Channel, maybe on Bizarre Foods where the toured the cannery. Then I saw it here on Amazon, but I always thought it was pricey. After a year or so mulling it over and reading reviews I bought 12 cans, $60.00. I was so let down. I have eaten two cans, and the tuna was dry, flavorful, but dry in both cans. I can buy store bought tuna for much less if that is what i'm going to get. I"m a huge, huge tuna fan, I can't get over the disappointment I felt after experiencing the dry tuna. Maybe it will improve as I try more, but I will never again buy this tuna for this price.

The best canned tuna available
This tuna is a great product. It has a very pure and light taste. The no added sodium variety is a nice feature for those who find other bands too salty or who are watching sodium intake. It is well worth the higher price given quality, taste and sustainability.

Best canned tuna period
This is the best canned tuna that I have ever tasted. It is light, flaky and had a nice aftertaste. It is not oily. The canned is filled with water. Two cans are quite filling as a meal and very low calorie. It is expensive but the tuna is sustainable so it is worth the price. The filet mignon of tuna!

High end Tuna at a decent cost
Obviously more expensive then the $1 - $2 per can stuff, but you get what you pay for. Great taste, expires in about 5 years so seems like they just packed it. Like the fact that it's local since I live in BC. Also in stores it sells around $9 a can so when I saw $70 for 12 it's actually a great deal to buy online bought 2 - 12 packs . I would defiantly recommend. I can't go back to the cheap stuff, I've been ruined now .. haha
