No Reaction From Cats That Love Catnip! 😣
I was very disappointed by this catnip product and I should have known immediately upon opening it that my 3 cats weren't going to like it, because the smell WASN'T even similar to catnip. I realize there is Valerian in this catnip, so I assumed the smell would be slightly different than regular organic catnip. HOWEVER,,,,,, upon opening this bag of catnip, it reeked of stinky feet or something worse!!! Never in my life have I smelled any catnip in 30+ years of purchasing many different brands that had this strong, stinky smell. I would not recommend this product, something just isn't right here... My cats wouldn't go near anything with this catnip on it, and then they no longer played with 2 of their favorite stuffed toys (mouse and a banana) that I had put inside a Ziploc bag with this catnip immediately after receiving it in the mail. I had to wipe down both toys very well several times with a damp towel and let them air dry before they'd even approach the toys again, but they're still not playing with them as they always had in the past 🙁 Very disappointing, especially since I had to wait so long for the product to arrive with no catnip on hand to give them in the meantime...

catnip without the hard stems
I was searching for a catnip without the hard stems and stalks and came across this one. It’s very ground very fine. I do wish it were somewhere in between but I’ve mixed it with another type that’s course ground. My kitty is very picky about which catnip she likes and which she wants nothing to do with. I’ve tried dozens of types and brands by now. She does seem to like this one fairly well, though. If I were to guess what she would rate it on a scale of 1-10, I’d say she would probably give it a 7.5 or so. You get quite a bit of nip for the price so that’s also a plus.

Not your run of the mill catnip! This wins Leo's vote Paws down
We are a two cat household. One very boisterous young male and a rescued semi-feral manx female. The female is cautious about most things toys, treats and piles of catnip. Leo, on the other hand, loves his treats and toys. This makes them all the more enticing. I leave small piles on his cat tree and he rubs, rolls and munches away. What I've noticed about this formula that is so different, is it makes him very mellow and affectionate afterwards. He is much more cuddly and seeks out our laps more frequently since we introduced this formula.We'll work on our little Meep Meep some more to see how she warms up to it.

Very simple, the cat loved it!
I got a package of this PunkyKat Catnip for my friends cat how I believe does not usually respond to catnip and their car love it. We put some on its cat tray and came back about an hour later and it was all gone and cat was totally chill and purring. Made in the U.S.A. and everything to the packaging to the grain feels nothing short of top quality. O' did I mention the cat loved it?

I was so happy to find this brand of catnip in stock (I think it got sold out for a while but looks like it's back). I bought it for a gift and they love it and told me it's a huge bag (good thing! they have three cats).

More for your Meowney 💰
Tried this new catnip formula with valerian root due to its cool name and fun packaging. Turns out, it actually works! My girls responded to it immediately, even using their scratch post now instead of the furniture! The bag was packed to the brim, so you definitely get your money’s worth. And it looks and smells fresh rather than old and dried out like some products I have tried. Highly recommend!

I have two cats and one of them loves it and the other shows no interest in it at all. The catnip appears to be fresh and is finely ground. I have transferred the catnip to an old plastic spice container so it is easier to sprinkle on scratch pads and toys.
