Brinno TLC200 Time Lapse and Stop Motion HD Video Camera - Green (BCC50 2016 Bundle)

Great quality, takes very cool time lapse videos and the kids loved watching the video. Lots of options, but the defaults are a good place to start.I bought this camera to get ready for building our new house.I started using it for different outdoor projects to try it out. Some of the things I learned,I set the number of frames per shot a little longer than default. You could see the images a little better because each video clip lasted longer, but the entire video got a lot longer.I ended up back at the default frames and taking a shot every 1 minute. A 1 1/2 day project took about 1 1/2 minutes to play. Any longer would have gotten pretty boring.Set night shot to off and it will stop taking pictures in the dark.I did not get the model with motion detect because it was past my budget but it would have been nice to eliminate all of the dead space recording. It works out just fine dropping a black bag over it when we are done for the day. That way I do not have to touch it.It does not take a bunch of individual pictures, it takes repeated short video clips. The file it creates is a complete video file. You do not need to do any converting, just stick the SD card in your computer and upload it.

Our company has 6 Brinno cameras. Some the same model some different. With all the cameras we are not sure why since the set up is rather easy but some times the cameras do not record. It is very depressing because we are a construction company and it's exciting to see the time lapse at the end of the job. But we just went to look at video a second ago and again there is no video of the project. This would be about the 4th time a camera did not record for some reason that is beyond us.

We purchased this camera to do a time lapse video of the move of an old house. We found the setting easy to use and the quality is incredible. I would highly recommend it for any type of longer term project where you need to track activity. Converts the photos to video each day which make editing or removing low activity days easy. I highly recommend the Brinno TLC 200.

So I couldn't decide which model to get since i just needed a Time Lapse Video of a indoor construction project. Was definitely looking or something that was worth the money but I had a budget. This is it!!!!!! Perfect. Camera worked great. Was happy with the quality expected lower quality. Easy to use. May be hard at first, just use the manual there are only few buttons so you will get the hang of it. Just set your Time Intervals (ex. if set at 5 min, every 5 min it will take a shot)  and change fps setting (play back speed of each frames) and start your recording. Hold OK button until you see REC on screen . That simple!! PS Don't forget to hold OK to stop Recording until you see "Processing"  It also came with a case for the camera which definitely is needed even for indoor since it gets pretty dusty in there. And thats not all it came with the Wall mount. So worth it by itself its almost same price. Worth paying extra bucks for these 2 accessories. I give 5 stars for this item!!!!
