GV-IP Decoder Box Plus | H.264 | Gigabit | Decode up to 64 IP Streams and up to 4MP IP Cameras

This is an awesome product and is a vast improvement over the original GV-IP Decoder. The original only had single camera or quad camera display. The plus unit has single, quad and 9 camera display screens. The original came with a IR remote for control and setup. The Plus unit comes with a wireless mouse for control and setup. I use these when customers only want to monitor the cameras without recording. You can capture screen shots using an SD card or USB thumb drive. When in the grid display mode you can use the mouse to click on a camera to display that camera only, then go back to the grid display. Very happy with the upgraded features.

An incredibly bad user interface, absolutely no user support and useless over remote connections makes for an expensive paperweight.This device can't be configured with different cameras on the same IP address, with different ports - so it's useless for remote cameras without setting up VPN's, tunnels and routing.The user interface is horrific. It is slow, and cameras can't be edited once saved - everything has the be deleted and re-added (takes a few minutes per camera).GeoVision doesn't like being disturbed by customer support - once you have the box, it's yours - they sure as heck aren't going to do anything to fix issues.

I used this with a 16 camera 4K IP Lorex system and it worked great. No delay or connection issues while streaming to the NVR and this decoder at the same time. Once I changed the IP to match the camera address range, it automatically found them all. Easy to set up screen view modes and allocate cameras to them.

These are great if you are using geovision cameras. we have them setup as a standalone video board. the nice thing is that once you set them up they will automatically come back to the same setup after a unman'd reboot. nice and clear using the 3by3.
