It’s all for the liquid gold! Get these!
I absolutely love these! A friend of mine recommended these to me when she had her LO. I use the lady bugs the day after I came home from hospital. They were perfect! I skipped the engorgement bc these babies did their job! Such a relief!! I Love how you can just put these on between feedings and no milk is wasted! I use to use the pads in my bras with my first LO. (Such a waste) Less than a month of having my second LO I already have more than a months of milk in the freezer! No work, no pumping just letting these babies do what they were made todo. So easy!! I tried the hand press haakaa, not a fan, but the lady bugs alone get the 5 stars from me. They’re not bad in comfort, I recommend a good support nursing bra to hold these babies in. And loose fitting tops because they do make your boobs look funny out in public.

I love my Hakka
My baby is now 10 months old, so I don’t use this anymore. However in the first 3-5 months, this was my holy grail item. I never actually used the lady bugs, but the pump itself was wonderful. I’d just put it on one side while baby fed on the other and I’d have a full bottle for when daddy wanted to feed her or when we went somewhere. Also was a huge relief for engorgement in the beginning!!!

Yes, yes, YES! Saved my BF journey 🥹
As a FTM, I didn’t know what to expect from BF. I was told constantly that it will be painful at first but you just have to power through. Well I didn’t know what a bad latch felt like because the lactation consultant at the hospital (Orlando Health - Winnie Palmer: DO NOT RECOMMEND!) was not helpful and was dismissive when I tried asking questions for more help. So two weeks in I find out he’s still not returned to his birth weight so they tell me come back in two days, and find he’s lost more weight. I’m devastated scared that I’m doing something wrong to hurt my baby & found out my baby has had such a bad latch that he’s been outright chewing on my nipples like jerky, causing excessive tissue damage & my milk supply was almost gone. Like droplets almost gone. The pediatrician told me I need to supplement with formula immediately & stop putting him to the nipple, which every FTM mom knows that absolutely crushed me. I found a remarkable lactation consultant (she’s in Central Florida & works in Merrit Island, but I’m not sure it’s safe to put her name here for those who may want to use her services) & she helped me with modifications for his upper lip tie (found out that was the source of my boys bad latch) & had us start using the even flow balance bottles because she said they kind of auto correct his mouth to fix his latch to minimize nipple confusion. While my nipples we’re heading, she had me use these. Omg. Omg. The picture you see is after a few days of consistently using these to pump, that’s how bad the tissue damage and pain was, and y’all. Seeing that much milk in one pump, I WAS IN TEARS! My supply has recovered and baby boy is back BF but I still use these on the boob he isn’t actively feeding from during feeds so no milk is wasted. They are such a great investment & I cannot recommend them enough! Only downside is EVERYTHING clings to the material so if you have pets, be wary.

Pump is great, ladybugs not so much.
I use the pump everyday, it is super handy and works great. I have a manual Mandela pump also and prefer this one hands down. The ladybugs I wish I could return cause they do not work like I thought they would. They are uncomfortable and bulky inside my bra. Just put the pump on one breast to collect let down while your baby drinks on the other. The ladybugs were a waste of money for me.

Perfect for increasing milk supply!
I think this set perfect for all bf and pumping mamas out there. The ladybugs help you collect letdown during the day, and it has also helped me increase my supply. It is easy to wear and just remember to empty each ladybug frequently depending on your supply. It is slightly difficult to clean as breastmilk may remain in the corners of it. You would need good small bottle brush to clean it. Due to the shape of the ladybugs, it also takes a while to dry once they've been cleaned. The hakaa on the other hand is easier to clean and dries quicker. It has helped me a lot in increasing my supply and to suction out any milk clots. I suggest that when using it you let it fill up to 2oz. Anything past that will make it too heavy for the hakaa to remain on the breast. It can also pop off if you baby is moving a lot or kicking. Both products are great for when you are on the go. The hakaa has helped me in relieve engorgement when I am unable to pump or breastfeed.

Manual Breast Pump for Breastfeeding
These work ok, I had difficulties getting the Haaka to collect enough milk, and when I did have a good suction it was PAINFUL and I didn't get much out. so be prepared for that. I did like the collection cups, I would put one on the opposite side my baby was feeding on and the let down would collect which was nice because I could save it for later.

No more soaked nursing pads!
Ladybug 🐞The Haakaa Ladybugs are awesome. Made 100% from silicone, the ladybugs are easy to clean and use. I love that the ladybugs have legs and can stand up, so dont have to worry about spills, and plug on top makes for easy pouring. You can see from the photo that I get about 1 oz of breastmilk from one breast while I'm feeding from the other. I've been collecting the milk and freezing it for my baby. No more soaking wet nursing pads and no wonder they get soaked! 1oz!!!Manual PumpI have only used the manual pump to help treat mastitis. You can go to Haakaa's website on the treatment instructions, where you have to wear the pump until it falls off/lose suction twice a day. I don't have patience to wait for the manual pump to lose suction, so I only tried it a few times. While it definitely helped to relieve some pain/discomfort, I can't speak to its effectiveness for treating mastitis. For collecting milk, the ladybugs are great though! I'm the lazy type so worked well for me. Put on, take off, pour, and wash. I normally only have letdown when I'm breastfeeding so technically one ladybug would be sufficient. I never wear both ladybugs at the same time, but it's nice to have a spare when one ladybug is still drying or you haven't had a chance to clean it yet.
