Excellent baby monitor for an incredible price
If youโre a to be or new parent then donโt get fooled into paying silly money for baby monitors. This does the job exceptionally and is very versatile. Connectivity has been faultless and the video quality is excellent. Would be ideal for elderly relatives too if you want to check in on them remotely.

Great Budget Camera That Just Works ๐น
Gave the Tapo TC60 Indoor Security Camera 5 stars. Really solid indoor cameraโimage quality is clear and the night vision works well even in complete darkness.Setup is quick through the app and it integrates perfectly with the rest of the Tapo setup. Motion alerts come through instantly and the two-way talk is a nice extra.Big plus is no monthly fees and the option for local storage, which makes it great value overall. If you want a simple, reliable indoor camera without subscriptions, this is a no-brainer.

Tapo TC60 Indoor Camera
โญโญโญโญโญThis is the second Tapo TC60 Indoor Camera weโve bought. We originally bought one as a gift for my father-in-law, and he loved it so much that he asked for another one!The camera is really easy to set up and use, making it ideal for anyone, even if theyโre not particularly tech-savvy. The picture quality is excellent for the price, with a clear, sharp image, and the motion notifications are accurate without constantly sending false alerts. For the price, itโs fantastic value for money. Weโd definitely recommend it and wouldnโt hesitate to buy another.

โญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธ Great budget indoor security cameraโso far, very impressed!
I recently bought the Tapo TC60 for home monitoring, and itโs been a fantastic surprise at this price point.๐ What I Love:Excellent 1080p image quality, crisp day and night vision up to ~30ft.Smart detection features like motion, person detection, even babyโcry alertsโapp notifications are quick and reliable.Twoโway talk works seamlessly, whether Iโm chatting with my dog or checking in with family.Supports local storage via microSD (up to 512GB)โno subscription needed. I added a card and it records perfectly.Easy setup through the Tapo app; added it to Alexa in minutes.โ ๏ธ Things to Keep In Mind:No pan/tilt featureโitโs fixed angle, so placement matters.App memory demandsโsome users note that large SD cards require occasional reboots if recording nonstop, though I havenโt had issues yet.Audio quality is mixedโmostly clear, but a few users mention minor distortion at times.๐ฐ Worth the Price?Absolutely. Itโs consistently rated well on UK Amazon as a great value, offering features youโd expect from more expensive cameras.๐ Final Verdict:If you're after a reliable, no-frills indoor security or pet/baby cam that works well with local storage and smart alerts, the Tapo TC60 is a smart pick. Great performance for the money, simple to use, and no subscription lock-in.

Peace of Mind for Dog Owners
I originally bought these cameras so I could check in on my dog while I'm in the office, and they've been absolutely brilliant. I now have a few dotted around the house, and they've given me so much peace of mind knowing I can quickly see what she's up to throughout the day.The app is easy to use and makes checking the cameras really straightforward. I also like that you can set up motion notifications. One of my favourite features is the Alexa integration. I've set up two routines so that when I say 'goodbye' to Alexa before leaving the house, the cameras automatically turn on, and when I get home and say 'I'm home', they switch off again. It means I don't have to open the app and remember to manage them manually, which makes the whole system feel much more seamless. The live feed quality has been great, and I've found the cameras to be reliable and easy to use. I also really appreciate that there isn't a monthly subscription fee just to access the features I use most.I haven't tested the memory card recording side of things enough to comment on that, but for live viewing and checking in on my dog, they've been excellent. The two-way audio feature is probably the weakest part in my experience. I've only used it a handful of times as it's not something I'm particularly interested in, but when I did try it, it seemed quite finicky and wasn't as smooth as I'd hoped.Overall, these cameras have made life much easier and have given me real peace of mind when I'm away from home. They've become one of those purchases that I now wouldn't want to be without. As a dog owner, being able to quickly check that everything is fine while I'm at work is invaluable.

Great quality indoor camera with strong night vision
The camera quality is really good. Images are clear and visible and the night vision works well for indoor monitoring. From a window perspective its not as visible at night but I managed to adjust it by changing the modes to Day mode which still lets you see clearly even after dark.It works best for indoor use like keeping an eye on pets, babies or general home security. The two way talk and compatibility with Alexa & Google are nice added features. It is reliable, clear and functional for everyday indoor and outdoor monitoring

Great!
This camera is amazing! I have 4 kids, 2 are diagnosed neurodivergent. They fight and break things and climb and lie to no end but this has put and end to that - I can easily see the entire disagreement and get the full story and because it's also got a 2 way mic I can also call through to them to nip it in the bud if I'm unable to get to them straight away. It's also great for keeping an eye on my very cheeky toddler and pre-schooler who often get themselves in to questionable situations. It really is like having eyes at the back of my head. In fact I love it so much that I've already planned on getting a second camera plus the external camera, solar charger and video doorbell. It's all hooked up to the same app so I can flick through each camera, I can set recording times and alerts such as movement, face recognition and baby cries (because it also makes an excellent baby monitor). It doesn't accept all sd cards but there's a whole page on the app which explains which sd cards are compatible and what different sd cards are best used for. The camera also has a loop option to overwrite old data once the sd card gets full so there's no need to constantly remove and erase it and there's also the option to upload footage to the cloud instead. You can speed up/slow down videos and zoom in and also record sections and download whole clips.Overall it's much better than I expected and as it turns out, we already have a tapo plug which is also controlled through the same app.The only thing I dislike is that sometimes when speaking through the mic it comes out the camera quite broken, like going through a tunnel. But really, that's the least important part I the grand scheme of things. I also don't like that only one person can view the camera at a time, so both myself and my partner can't both have it open on our phones at the same time.If you're debating between this and another type of camera I highly recommend this. You'll be surprised how many people you come across who also use this brand! It's popularity speaks for itself.

Brilliant Quality and Value
Can't recommend these cameras enough. Just added another, control from my Tapo App on my Android phone. Such good quality images, and amazing price. I've added a internal micro card for recordings, so no ongoing costs. Just brilliant.

The TP-Link Tapo 2K Indoor Camera: A Surprisingly Excellent Choice
As someone who has delved into the world of home security cameras, purchasing and testing models from Meross, Ubiquiti, Nest, Ring, and others, I've encountered my fair share of unique challenges with each brand. I've even invested over $200 on some Ubiquiti cameras, all in the pursuit of finding the perfect balance of functionality, ease of use, and affordability. However, it wasn't until I came across the TP-Link Tapo 2K Indoor Camera that I felt I had found a device that stood out in the crowded market, especially for a very specific need: ensuring the safety and monitoring of my in-laws who have recently moved into an assisted living community. The aspect of this camera that immediately caught my attention was its affordability combined with its robust feature set, something I had begun to think was impossible to find. Unlike other systems that nickel and dime you for every additional feature, the TP-Link Tapo offers a comprehensive package without the need for a subscription service. This was particularly appealing as it enabled me to keep an eye on my in-laws' well-being without incurring ongoing costs.Installation and setup were astonishingly straightforward. I opted for a 256GB SD card, which was more than adequate for our needs and was incredibly easy to install and configure. This ease of setup is not something I can say for all the cameras I've tested in the past, where sometimes the setup process seemed almost deliberately complicated. The video quality is another point where the Tapo 2K Indoor Camera shines. It delivers crisp, clear images that make it easy to see what's happening, even from a distance. But perhaps the feature that sets it apart the most is the ability to playback footage remotely. This has given me peace of mind, knowing that I can easily check in on my in-laws at any time, from anywhere.Price-wise, the Tapo 2K is unbeatable. Considering the high costs of some competitors' cameras that still require additional outlays for full functionality, the value proposition of the Tapo 2K is clear. It's an affordable, effective solution for anyone looking to secure their home or, in my case, keep a watchful eye on loved ones in a care setting. In conclusion, the TP-Link Tapo 2K Indoor Camera has proven to be a little gem in a market saturated with overpriced and overcomplicated alternatives. Its combination of ease of use, excellent video quality, remote playback capability, and affordability make it a standout option. It's a purchase I've been thoroughly pleased with and would recommend to anyone in a similar situation or anyone looking for a reliable home security camera without unnecessary frills or expenses.
