Excellent Value
I have been flying rather often lately and up until now have made do the best I could with a compact carry on. But I finally decided to go with a large bag I could check and bought this 29” one. When it arrived I was overwhelmed with how much more space it had than I was used to! But even though it’s large, I found it easy to handle and relatively lightweight. I really appreciated the placement of the sturdy handles on all three sides. And because I’m not too tall, I found that I didn’t even need to use the pullout handle to roll it along, the regular, stronger one worked just fine for me. The bag came with a little lock and key but unfortunately I couldn’t get it to work. Oh well. The two wheels worked just fine, easy to maneuver, no tipping at all, but then again, I never packed it all the way full. Mine is a pretty navy blue color, and even though the back side is black, I didn’t have any problem recognizing it on the baggage carousel. It came through both flights very well, only a little scuffed from one flight (very minor). So yes, I recommend this luggage.

I'm impressed. It went through a lot...and is still going strong!!
I got this case for a year of mission in Ireland. We were constantly in and out of houses--rarely stayed longer than 2 nights in the same place, which means it was always being repacked, carried up and down stairs, dragged across a driveway--oftentimes through rain, and thrown (sometimes not very kindly) into the back of a van with 8 other cases. The lightest amount of weight it ever had was probably 45lbs. Easily got 60 lbs in there. No zippers busted. I had to use the expansion zipper only once. You can see the mesh on the inside pocket is torn--THIS WAS COMPLETELY MY FAULT. I had acquired pins that I decorated the inside of my bag for, and sharp pins don't do well with mesh. Who knew! I was really concerned throughout the year with the handle on the side of the bag. (the picture for this didn't upload) It was showing signs of distress throughout the year--side of the case bowing outward, etc. But it held up the entire time with little tearing of the handle! The outside of the bag held up really well--only a few minor tears/rubs on the canvas material. The bottom was a little scuffed up--again, it didn't go through the best terrain. My only concern at the moment are the wheels. They bow out a little bit with added weight (understandably). Otherwise, it's still looking and working GREAT. This case lasted a year on the road for me and is still 100% usable!! If you're looking for a reliable, long lasting, strong suitcase, I would strongly recommend this one!

Lightweight but not for every week travel
I fly every Monday and Friday with this luggage piece, so far after 2 months the side has a small tear in the fabric, but the integrity is still intact. I do not believe the quality is sub par, just that the airline luggage handlers are rough with all luggage. If you want a heavy duty luggage piece this may not be for you, but for a casual traveler, it is perfect because of it being light weight.

Poor Quality
I travel very little, so after reading the positive reviews about this product and the durability that some experienced while using the luggage for multiple trips, I assumed this would be a very good choice for someone who travels two times per year. Unfortunately, I should have trusted the negative reviews. After one trip the fabric pilled on the front so severely, I used scissors to trim...nothing major but a frustration for new luggage. During trip two, the luggage was placed in the cargo area of an SUV, personally packed, with other luggage and travel items. After arriving at the destination, the fabric on the back of the luggage had multiple 3 to 4 inches tears that aligned with the "support bars" in the luggage. On the return trip, these tears worsened so the luggage is no longer usable (the bars are poking through the fabric). I contacted the company and completed a warranty claim. Marketing for this luggage advertises: "dedication to quality, committed to excellence, designed to withstand the rigors of global travel". Two months after submitting photos of the damage and a clearly written explanation, I was awarded a computer-generated response stating, "The damage sustained to your luggage is not considered a manufacture defect but damage to the luggage. The limited warranty program does not cover dents, cracks, scratches, cuts, and or scuffs to the body of the luggage after use." The response continued on suggesting the damage was caused by misuse during travel. I am unsure how to be more careful when using this luggage for travel. Maybe wrapping in bubble wrap for protection? This product is very lightweight and a good price. However, when it must be replaced after two uses, the price point is no longer an advantage. I never leave negative reviews, but I hope this review helps other buyers avoid wasting money.

Not as good as the competition
Not as good as the competition. I shopped a lot of luggage because it is so expensive. This is not $100 bag. But the msrp is around $65. This is not a $65 bag either. Most places were offering incentives of $10 off bringing it to $55. This isnt even a $55 bag. If i had to guess i'd give $35. Now the lowdown. The color is only on the face. The rest of the bag is black no matter what color you buy. The black material covering 3/4 of the bag is no better than a common nylon weave tote/gym bag. It is covering a plastic and metal frame. the plastic sides are pliable, but semi sturdy. It cannot be considered a hardside case. (Nor was it advertised as such, but less rigid than some of the more name brand flexible cases.) The face has a tweed style weave with 2 portfolio style zippered pockets. And of course your color of choice. The interior has a removable lining with quick release straps. But absolutely no padding or dual lined walls. The best i can describe is a minimal covered frame on the bottom, 4 rigid flexable sides with a padded tweed top.The collapsable strolling handle slides into a 2 bar frame on the interior backside to hopefully reinforce the overall frame yet i could invision these bars leaving wrinkles and creases on clothing because they are only seperated from view by the imitation satin lining. All stitching, handles, zippers and wheels appear to be just as good as their higher price counterparts. I can see this as a weekend or business travel with car to hotel to car kinda bag. But i have grave reservations to the sturdiness of this bag left to airport and international handlers. Could probably handle several airline trips but i believe each successive trip will show more and more unacceptable wear. Remember, one good snag on a sharp corner and you're looking at your belongings (if snagged/ripped on the bottom. I intend to reinforce this design flaw with some homemade panel, cardboard at the very least. Having just discovered this, i'd like to take a quarter star off my review!) I believe that the overall endurance of this bag will depend on NOT overloading the capacity. (Imagine throwing a paperbag with a brick in it. The bag will suffer the most) Disclaimer: i havent used it yet so i could be so wrong it hurts. I did buy amazon's bargain used luggage. Besides a little scuffing on the bottom i cant tell its used unless there are items missing (like the padding) that i have no knowledge of. Bottom line: im comparing this bag to the much more expensive bags as a bench mark. I dont think the $100 bags are worth the expense either, but you do get what you pay for. If you can afford it, spend the $100 the quality is there in the name brands. If like me your a bit more modest $55-65 is alot for this quality. Maybe keep looking til you find a name brand on sale. But i am satisfied because this will be a one and done use (maybe thrice) and was a neccessary evil.

Travel Select Amsterdam Softside Expandable Luggage
I’m very impressed with the Travel Select Amsterdam Softside Expandable Luggage with Rolling Wheels, Orange, 29-Inch. The size is perfect for longer trips, and the expandable feature gives extra packing space without making the suitcase feel bulky. The bright orange color makes it very easy to spot at baggage claim, which is a huge plus when traveling. The wheels roll smoothly, and the handles feel sturdy and comfortable to use. It held up well during travel and kept everything organized and protected. Great value for the price and a dependable luggage option for frequent travelers.

Love love love!
The color is beautiful! Based on the photo, I expected more of a burnt sienna color, but it's actually a brighter orange! Were I hoping for a burnt sienna, I may have been disappointed, but I have Chicago Bears luggage tags, so it matches perfectly! The suitcase has lots of compartments and pockets, which is great! Also, it has the extender. My only critique: I wish that the straps inside were able to be pulled a bit tighter. I haven't traveled with this yet, but I'm excited to! After a multi-country trip, I will update my review to see how it fared dealing with baggage check. Edit: Well, this suitcase has now been dragged through 6 flights and about 15 French trains. It's held up very well so far! I will warn you: it shows dirt VERY easily. After my very first flight, I picked it up and it was absolutely filthy from being thrown around through airport security. But despite that, it has held up remarkably well. It has been picked up by the extendable handle multiple times, jerked around, thrown onto trains and i've run with it behind me at top speed trying to catch a train! Not a tear or fray to be seen. The only downside is that iron-on patches will not stay attached. I'm not sure if it's the fabric or just the texture, but I tried regular iron-on patches and iron-on glue and they all peeled right off. I'll just have to sew them on.

Medium quality
Quality is medium, but the information description is very, very misleading. On the web it read 29 inches. The actual delivery was 24 inches! What's this now! 😎😎😎

Schöner Koffer, jedoch von mangelhafter Qualität.
Vom ersten Eindruck her ein schöner Koffer.
