Are the pads non allergenic?

I have had Lymphedema for 6 years. Open wounds lhat will react painfully to almost anything that comes in contact. They have done nothing but heal with these pads. The material is sterile and quite safe to use. Just make sure the blue line is on the outside.

Will heavy bleeding seep thru pad and stain?

They are not leak proof. They are of average thickness. You may want to cover with 3M Tegaderm transparent film roll sold here on amazon. It is the best tape there is out there. I am a retired RN and have used this product for years.

Is the entire pad lined with plastic or just the outer layer?

The pad isn't lined with plastic even on the outer layer.

Which side goes on the wound? The side with the blue line or the other side?

The blue line goes on the non wound side
