BaBylissPROBarberology Hair Trimmer for Men FX788RG ROSEFX Professional Lithium Trimmer

Needs blade replacement in only 2 months.

I couldn't figure out how to zero gap these. There's a tool included, but there were no instructions. I'm returning them as they simply do not cut close enough for my needs. As these are, I could get similar results with a $50 trimmer. Credit where credit is due though, they do look cool, the build quality is nice, and the battery does last quite a while.Update: After returning these, I ordered a corded Andis T-Outliner for around $50. They are incredible and my hairline has never looked so crispy in all these years since I've been cutting my own hair. I had to lower my rating of these BaByliss even further because it's ridiculous that a trimmer 1/3rd the price could be so much better. Maybe I just got unlucky and bought BaByliss's worst product in their lineup. Who knows, but my complaints still stand and I hold the opinion that the Barberology Hair Trimmer model is a waste of money.

First impressions are that they feel great in the hand and are of good construction. I zero gapped them and they are a clean cut without nicking the skin. There is a slight delay on the, "On" "off" switch, but no issue on proper operations! I am NOT barber. I am just a guy who's been cutting his own hair for 25 years along with my kids' hair.

expensive for whaT IT IS

Great for blending. Very sturdy feel. Has some weight to it but not too bad. Motor is medium tone compared to other wireless clippers like the 100 year wahl and the magic clip. Although over priced it cuts very well and is my go to option for fading. The 5 Notches on the side open and close lever is a god send and if you stay at the guide line with out going into the next guide and you follow the level system your fades will come out masterfully every time. The look is beautiful and in the shop I actually get lots of compliments on the look. I dont feel like there more powerful then my wahl magic clips which are about a hundred dollars cheaper. Which is why I gave it 3 out of 5 stars for value for money. They cut almost the same. The battery life is better then my wahl Anniversary clipper but not better then my magic clips. I expected alittle more for the price of the clippers.
