Worked well
I bought this for a MacBook that started to have a non-responsive keyboard and trackpad. Lots of posts around the internet talk about resetting the NVRAM and SMC which I did a few times but was only a temporary solution. I then discovered this ribbon cable is prone to failure and replacing it 100% solved the issue.It’s now been working for over six months so I would say this part is a good replacement and does the job as expected.

Did the trick, but the size was wrong.
Bought this to replace a ribbon with bad contacts after a drinks spillage. It has fixed the problem, but I was surprised that it is not folded/sized the same way as the ribbon it replaces. That means that the cable does not line up with both ends and lie flat—the middle section is too long. I’ve attached a photo to illustrate. I was able to push it down and still get the battery cradle back on, so it works, but this is not optimal.

Well worth it and cheaper than the Genius Bar
My MacBook Pro was suffering from the occasional keyboard/Trackpad not working issue. I recently found a fix on YouTube that suggested replacing this item and well, it worked and my MacBook is back operating as it should. Well made part and as long as you have the correct screwdriver, it was a easy swap in less than 10 mins.

A simple life saver when you mess up whilst doing another fix.
I had to buy this due to the old one getting damaged whilst replacing the battery in a Macbook Pro. Easy to install and at a very good price. Nothing more to add other than the saving you make by not using the Apple service centre.

Works as expected but it is slightly longer than the original
The cable fixed my issue with not working keyboard and trackpad. The adhesive is strong. The only minor note is that the flex cable is slightly longer and might require bending it slightly so it fits both ends without resistance. I recommend doing this with care otherwise it might snap.
