Master Class Crusty Bake Non-Stick Pizza Crisper, 32cm, Sleeved

REALLY happy with my new pizza tray, was way better than I was hoping for. For the price I was expecting thin & flimsy but instead got thick and sturdy! Would definitely buy another if I had a family and needed it.

Although this cost a bit more than I would normally pay just for a pizza tray it was well worth the money. It is a good thickness and weight so doesn't warp and gives a great evenly cooked, crispy based pizza. It's also very easy to clean, mostly I give it a wipe over with kitchen towel after using it and that wipes off any grease from the pizza and you can't tell it has been used. I've never put it through the dishwasher as it's so easy to give it a quick wash that just don't see the point. I originally bought this because I wanted a round tray to go in my microwave for when I use the oven feature and wanted something sturdy enough so it wouldn't warp, but now I use it whatever I'm cooking in and I'm so glad I did. I'll never put a pizza "directly onto the shelf" as they so often recommend because this tray gives a much better result, the perfect amount of crispness to the base and no sagging pizza stuck to the oven shelves or dripping fat onto the oven base. There are many reasons to buy this pizza tray and although some make clean up easier, it's for the perfect pizza that I highly recommend this tray.

I've noticed a real improvement in the quality of my homemade pizzas since using this. It makes sure it's all cooked evenly, and considering I was looking at pizza stones (a lot more expensive) I'm delighted with the results for such a reasonable price. Using homemade dough with this tray, I recommend just putting the dough in for 4-5 minutes first (with or without the sauce) before adding the cheese and any other toppings. Cooks it through perfectly.

So pleased.. A very good quality substantial tray. Do not oil it because you do not need to and the pizza just slides off it. We have become increasingly disappointed with cardboard supermarket pizza and decided to make our own. The difference is staggering. Buy it ...you will not regret it and have it for a lifetime. At 68 I have left it a bit late but hey ho. at least I will enjoy lovely pizza in my summer wine years.

Having never made pizza before, I went square-eyed researching the options. Given that my wonky hands are not much use for lifting stuff, I opted for a lightweight pan. In case of any leakages, I put a roasting pan on a lower shelf to catch the drips. Brilliant result! I'll be using this pan a lot. It is completely non-stick and only needs a wipe over to clean it.
