PNW Engineering at its finest.
The media could not be loaded. This is a great knife from a Northwest Oregon company that specializes in making knives for the working man that wants a knife with a sophisticated flair. The opening mechanism is great and really draws attention to a very unique design. It allows for easy one-handed operation. It has a very secure liner lock that makes you feel like you can really use this knife. The blade came sharp right out of the box with a nice edge. The grip is comfortable and fits well in my hand. This knife is a bit on the heavy side, but I prefer to have a bit of heft behind my knife when I am using it. I am stoked to add another quality knife from CRKT to my quiver...

Fun
I like to fiddle with knives while doing things like watching YouTube views or movies. This one looked like a great option because of the multi faceted opening function. I was right, this knife is a lot of fun to play with.I would not consider this to be a beater knife, it isn't even something I would carry for EDC (I mostly keep it by the front door toopen mail and such). The reason is that the construction just does not inspire confidence in me, but this is necessary due to the design of the knife. This being said, the lockup seems quite strong, so my concerns may be unfounded. It did take a bit of use to smooth out the mechanism, ir was quite difficult to work at first. The blade came reasonably sharp, I've had much worse come out of CRKT.Lately I have had quite a few fails in buying new knives, even in another CRKT. I usually buy a little higher end knives (SOG and Benchmade), but I am quite pleased with this one.

Great and Unique Knife - Simple Review
The media could not be loaded. This is a very handsome and well crafted knife. It's got a solid heft and great hand contour. The spear tip blade is sharp and attractive. It has a very good slice. The action on this knife is very unique. It uses a fulcrum motion. There is no flipper nor thumb stud.Right out of the box though the action is very tight and it takes time both to master the motion and to wear it in enough to do it easily. The way they open it in the demo video is not how I find you have to open it. You need light forward pressure. Any downward pressure counteracts the mechanism. Thumb on the side and slide forward (right to left.) Please see uploaded video.Once it's worn in and you develop the muscle memory it makes a great fidget. The only problem I've found with this knife is also a good thing: the liner lock is really tight. That's a great thing for safety; however the gimping on the liner lock is a bit hard edged and can be tough on your thumb. All in all this is a great knife with a pretty cool wow factor and it will keep your hands busy.

Simple but magical engineering
I really like the way it is engineered to open. It is positive and the liner lock is secure. The knife appears to be built like a tank. It is attractive and functional and I doubt anyone will know how to open if should your possession of it be compromised. I had the knife for six months and bought a second. This knife should fly off the shelves. Congratulations to Kommer for the design and to CRKT for producing it.

Fun, Functional & Friendly
I primarily use for opening boxes, other light duty cutting tasks, edge holds up well.In addition, I work with people from many age groups and backgrounds so need a knife that says "tool" not "weapon".Pros- good steel, solid lock, FUN opening mechanism, good size for my small hand. 'Borrow Proof' secret opening has kept it in MY pocket. 😎Cons - It's too much fun to play with.If you are on the fence - just buy it! You won't regret it.

Cool design
I Iike this knife. It was a puzzle to figure out the opening method. It took me about 10 minutes to figure it out.The knife scores high on the opening design if you are looking for something different.Opening the knife is a two step process- that's the cool/unique part. If you are looking for a legal knife that opens very quickly the are a lot better choices. The quality is consistent with my other CRKT. They are all great "middle tier" knives.Overall I think this is a great EDC knife.

Interesting knife
This is a interesting knife, could be better if they would add the option of switching the clip around and a couple of other minor details. Takes a little bit of getting used to at first to open, but once you figure it out, it is easy to open. Closing is just as easy to open (once your used to it). I don't like the clip, it gets in the way of the grip. They need have a option where you can move the clip around. You can not get a good grip on the knife with that clip intact, it makes if very uncomfortable (forward grip or reverse grip of any style). If you do decide to get this I suggest you taking that clip off, it makes a difference. You'll have way better control of the grip. The handle looks nice (Carbon Fiber texture / glass reinforced nylon), but it is just so smooth its almost slippery. A little too smooth for a opening action like this, but that's just my personal opinion, most people probably won't think twice about it. The knife shape is nice, I like it. It is a little on the heavier side for me, but it was the way it opened that drew me into getting it. Overall it is a cool knife to have and to show off with, but I don't see myself using this as a EDC knife.

The CRKT fulcrum 2 is a nice knife. If you don't know how to open ...
The CRKT fulcrum 2 is a nice knife. If you don't know how to open it already, it's fun to watch friends try and fail! The ti-ni finish on the blade looks good. Had to put a better(sharp as heck) edge on it, but that's just standard for me. I think maybe a hollow ground blade would work better but I ain't complaining.
