Illustrated Pharmacology Memory Cards: PharMnemonics

These cards are my resource of choice for USMLE and COMLEX pharmacology. All of the mnemonics use part of the name of the drug to "create a story" that aids memory. I like the mnemonics because unlike sketchymicro or picmonic, the pictures are not too far removed from the content; i.e. a cane shoved through a sodium channel to help you remember the mechanism of action of lidoCAINE. while some of the mnemonics are reachy, others are excellent and the cards are still useful even if you ignore some of the mnemonics. They are full color and contain all sorts of helpful tips I never thought of. My only complaint is that a few cards have multiple drugs on them which is great for board prep, but can be annoying if you are using them to help with coursework as some of the drugs may not be covered in the class you are taking and that can convolute your studying. Buy these, they are great
