English translation is already good, but could've been even better.

This is a very important landmark of the Persian poetry. The translation is done by a recognized scholar.

With an extensive vocabulary _and_ a translation, this is easily the best resource for intermediate learners of Persian. And, of course, the stories in the book are delightful.

Very nice translation, conveys the poetry of the original.without trying to translate exactly with is impossible since it is written in an archaic language with many double meanings and rhymes. I have read or at least looked at many translations and this is my favorite so far
