Q: Is the 18awg conductor solid copper?

I contacted the seller and they said this one is not a solid copper core.

Q: Will this cable work to replace the one from the post to your house?

I don’t see why not , I went from roof antenna into the house and picture and tv , all seems too be working fine if not better seeing the old cable was 30 years old.

Q: Is it direct burial rated

The cable I received was UL rated CM for "general purpose". To direct bury, you should use cable that is UL rated CMX. You'll see the rating printed on the cable itself somewhere after the letters "UL". (You'll also find cable ratings CMP and CMR for commercial applications, probably aren't sold on Amazon.) I've heard there are cable manufacturers that write "direct bury" on their cable and that would be good too. Note that it's okay to bury CM rated cable as long as it's in a waterproof conduit. If you're going through the trouble of burying the cable, just use CMX. It's widely available at bog-box hardware stores and costs about the same. I can't seem to find any on Amazon.

connectors are weatherproof brass, i think it has solid copper wire, been using this cable for my rv satellite dish have had no problems, bought cable 3 years ago
