ecooe 16.9oz Glass Tea Cup with Infuser and Lid 430ml(Use Capacity), Clear

I had never heard of a tea infuser mug. When I learned about them, I liked the concept and wanted one for myself. This mug is fabulous. I will never be without one. Great features of this particular model are: 1) The clear glass that allows me to see the color and amount of tea. This helps me judge the state of steeping. 2) The excellent metal basket for holding loose tea or a tea bag, or tea with some add-ins like a slice of lemon. The holes are small and I believe you could even brew coffee in this, though I have not tried it. 3) The metal lid that helps keep the tea hot for an amazingly long time, and which serves to hold the basket when the tea is ready to drink. This is a great product and I may give some as gifts. The person that introduced me to infuser mugs has a ceramic model with large holes in the basket. Small bits of tea leaf enter the tea mug through these holes. The metal basket in the Ecooe model I'm reviewing is better than that. It is also better than our old egg style infuser because the holes in that infuser are much larger. Other features: Cleanup is easy too. And it looks great.

I never use it as originally intended (tea mug) because the metal cup is huge and it just does not feel right. I use it for brewing fresh ginger and then I freeze it as ginger ice cubes and make ginger tea. This cup is awesome for that. I have a glass teapot and it just not suitable for ginger brewing because ginger plugs the slots and water does not go through. I also use it as a teapot when I have guests. It wouldn't work without the great lid included. The "mug" (teapot) is high quality and works great. It looks fragile, but it is not. Just be mindful when you use it as a mug - the metal infuser is huge and t is very easy to brew a tea which is way too strong.

Brilliant cup design, durable thus far and easy to clean.

Quality mfg. Volume is good. Design is a bit off. Needs to be little larger at the top. Glass should be tapered to 75% at the bottom. Filter as well. It would make it so much easier to clean.

If you're a tea lover, you're going to love this mug. It comes with a stainless steel strainer and lid. I love it because you can add loose leaf tea and it strains perfectly. I prefer loose leaf tea to plastic bags. The glass is heat resistant. I really think it's a great option.

Excelente compra una taza muy util

Richtig schönes Teil, sehr schön stabiler und doch durchlässiger Filterzylinder, schön groß, Tee hat gut Platz zum „Schwimmen“. Henkel angenehm maximal handwarm, selbst wenn Glas kochend aufgegossen, auch Deckel und Filter nicht brüllend heiß nach paar Minuten ziehen. Sehr ordentliche Qualität insgesamt. Wir denken schon über Nachbestellen nach, da hier richtig viel und gern genutzt.
