This product was recommended for use as a heater box access cover in first generation Dodge Cummins trucks to access the inside of the heater box to clean out leaves, small sticks and other debris the collects inside from falling through the cowl, right below the bottom of the windshield. You must use a 4 1/2 inch hole saw to drill the hole to install it. I got the idea off youtube and it works great!

Used two of these to create some extra storage in the rear bumper of my Jeep Wrangler JK, worked great!

I was recently able to pick up a used kayak (tandem), at a good price, but it had exposed holes in the top, because the original plastic port hole covers had disintegrated. I was able to pick these up at a pretty good price and was even able to attach a small lanyard to the inside with a small would screw to the bottom of the lid so that the porthole coverwould not be accidentally dropped in the water, Good product, keeps my kayak from filling up with water, during rain.

Lost the hatch cover for Sundolphin Bali SS 8 kayak. Was hoping I could just screw in the hatch cover but thread pattern is different. The holes perfectly match though so I just removed the old hatch ring and installed the new one. Easy peasy.

Good quality, arrived quick however the seal on it was clearly installed terribly. Like a child tried pressing it in with a stick.

Added to the intake box on my 2002 tacoma 3.4L V6. Lid retention is confidence inspiring when screwed on tight.

As long as its sealed properly upon install, it works great. No Leaks, no complaints.
