I have used routers, but am not what I would call a professional with the tool. I wanted to buy a wooden engraved plaque to display my wife and I, brother in law and his wife's name, at our trailer. Needless to say, this would have been a costly purchase. Since I had a router, that was underutilized, am retired and had plenty of time to experiment with this sign making template, I decided to give it a try. I must say, my first attempt worked flawlessly and not only was my wife impressed but so was my brother in law. My sister in law is yet to see my artwork, but will once we open the trailer this Spring. I even added some decorative engravings to the lettering. I colored the letters and designs with magic markers, stained and polyurethaned it. I'll be the hit of the trailer park and am looking forward to taking orders this summer. I have since bought other Milescraft products and found them all simple and worthwhile. Hope to look at buying their panograph machine.

I ordered these as a back up set, but also so I might have extra letters to use as needed. They are what I needed and seem to do just fine. The original set was so good, is one of the reasons I bought this second set. The price was a convincing incentive as well. They have been good so far. Would I recommend for someone, yes I would. I suppose others on the market are better but for me these are great.. Thanks for asking.

I like the product, however had to rate the overall experience a 3 star. I noticed something was not right when I picked up the FEDEX envelope the box of stencils was shipped in. I noticed that things (stencils) were moving around in the envelope depending on how you held the envelope. When I opened the envelope, the box the stencils were contained in was smashed and torn, and the stencils were not contained. Does not appear that any were missing or broken.

It was awesome to have.

I used it to route a name into a gift, worked perfectly. I didn't get the rest of the kit, I just taped the edges of the stencils together and then used some double stick carpet tape to affix to my project. Worked pefectly.

Great product. Have made a couple of signs already. Easy to use, just pay attention to what you're doing.
