Good value for the money
This coffee grinder is an imitation of the Japanese Hario skerton. Instacuppa choose a great product to model theirs after. You can't beat the price when the original is $40 or almost 3200 Rs. It works very well and consistently for finer grinds but it's coarse grind setting has a lot of smaller particles in it.

Good at the finest setting, really inconsistent for coarse.
Bought it because the glass jar for my Hario Skerton broke. The jar for this one fits the Hario exactly, so that was a positive. The burr is bad. Two semi-circular halves joined together for the outer ring, and this is problematic -- ground coffee gets stuck between them, and leads to bad grounds.Works nicely at the finest setting. Any coarser, and the results are inconsistent. The handle rivet breaks off (they give you a replacement, but that breaks too).

Good sturdy makes fine grind 8months
Its been around 8 months I've been using it. This is by far the best budget grinder I've use, if you are newbie in coffee griding and want to try a grinder within 1500 then this is one to go for.Give a fine almost consistent grind size. You need to play around to get a good coffee taste grind size.I use it for my expresso and pour over which for me by far has worked well. For more corsere grind (like cold brew) the grounds vary in size but can be managed.

Value for money
Good build quality, quite sturdy, adjustable grind size, comes with an extra glass jar. Way more value for money than other premium brands with exorbitant prices (looking at you, Hario)! Update after 7 months of daily usage:-There is a serious problem with the crank handle knob on this model. The rivet used to keep the knob in place gets worn out over repeated use, and ultimately it breaks, leading to the knob coming off of the handle. This renders the grinder useless. This happened to me about 3 months after my purchase. After reporting the issue to Instacuppa support, they sent me a replacement handle, as the grinder has a one year warranty. Now the knob of the replacement handle has come off. To be fair, Instacuppa is gracious enough to send yet another handle as replacement. What concerns me is the certainty that it will happen again, and I will get replacement handles till one year.So basically, the grinder is usable for only one year, if you consume coffee daily. This for me depreciates the value of the product a lot.

Delivers what it promised!
This is one of those products which delivers what it promises...nothing more and nothing less. The levers feel strong, the ceramic burr seems solid - how long will it last only time can tell - but for now its grinding pretty well! The screw based adjustment from the grind size gives you an infinite control in theory, better than notches. You can really fine tune it based on your need. The glass jars for storage are pretty neat. The silicon cover could have been a bit better (more shiny!).Overall satisfied and a great alternative to electric grinders (well yes you will need some muscle to grind the beans - its a thing of enjoyment more than labour if you are really into it!)

Very cumbersome
Don’t buy this product if you consume a fair amount of coffee, otherwise you will be grinding away instead of entertaining your family and friends
