Q: How many ounces does the large decorative one hold?

So for the little cylinders we recommend one 1lb (16oz) bag of sand and the Large we recommend at least three 1lb bags of sand (for a total of 48oz) so for the entire set we commend you get at least 6 to 7 of the 1lb bags of sand (96 - 112 ozs)

Q: Are these glass containers? We are looking for non breakable ones, thank you.

Yes, these are glass but in my opinion they are a stronger type of glass. If you're traveling with them the styrofoam in the box is cut out for the glasses to fit perfectly right back in them! I traveled a 24 hour car ride and they made it back fine and everything fit perfectly back into the box with the sand in them and everything!
