This is a solid knife. I own 2 of the silver ones and had to get this plated version also. The take down or "field strip" they call it is simple and useful. When blade is extended, it is solid, no wiggle or cheap feel to it. I own some other "field strip" models, this is by far the best. I believe because it is all metal, and not a plastic handle. I recommend.

Nice belly on the blade. I was worried a bit about the take down lever being too easy to slide but once I felt the force behind it no longer worried. Comes factory sharp but could be better. A quick strop helps wonderfully.

Nice knife

This knife has a solid build and easy to work flipping action but doesn't hold an edge too well

My only complaint is that I had this knife for less then a week before the paint started to wear off. I was more then a bit disappointed. I figured with a $100 dollar price tag something as simple as durable paint job like a cerakote would have been included.

I was thinking the locking mechanism would be a bit more robust.

The quality of the knife is good; the assisted opening mechanism is really pretty poor. There’s not enough leverage to reliably and fully deploy the blade.

Quality of steel seemed to be less than what had come to expect from crkt. The blade stains easily and permanently.
