Fotodiox Lens Mount Adapter Compatible with C-Mount CCTV/Cine Lenses on Select Sony E-Mount Cameras

Used this to attach my grandpa's Canon 50mm F1.4 to a Sony A7iii. The image is softer than a newer lens but has a smooth filmy look. Love it!

It was really hard to fit the adapter on my sony a7iv and fx3 mount. It's a very good product but it's got some engineering problem.

this product was damaged when i recivied it, however once i tried on my sony a7iii camera it didnt even accept EF lens on adapter, i tried EF 50mm with adapter and adapter couldnt even accept the lens, but after to many trying finally it accept the lens, once i turned ON my sony a7iii camera the Apeture was not showing and camera said you didnt properly fit the lens, so it didnt work for me, and im going to return it.

Useless. Can’t even manual focus. Money wasted..

The quality is as expected, plastic, but it does what is says, for macro photography. I am using with Sony A7III and it works good.I lost the auto focus, so I have to adjust only from zoom ring on my 24-70 lens. Also, the manual focus ring is not helpful.

Like others have said there is some plastic on this thing, specifically the front and back trunnions that the rails attach to. However, all that matters is that the lens and camera mounts stay parallel, and it looks like they do. My particular copy was missing the set screw to lock the bellows, so that’s annoying. I’ll probably just find a screw with the same thread at the hardware store and use that.Overall the build quality is acceptable, QC may be lacking, but the price isn’t bad. I’d give it a 3.5/5 if Amazon would let me.

I used this adapter to use a Helios lens with my Sony. The build quality is good and I like the look of it better than other m42 adapters. I definitely recommend.

I was able to use these extension tube with a variety of my lenses to get unique results. They have electrical connections so that you can use auto-focus, although I preferred going manual to get the results I wanted. If you don't want to spend a lot of money on a single macro lens and already have good lenses, this would be a great alternative.
