What Is Preserved Moss Preserved moss is moss that is no longer alive and has been chemically preserved and repurposed for decorative purposes and artistic medium. Preserved moss brings powerful, natural energy to any setting. You may have seen a few displays in high-end hotels and restaurants, luxury spas, gyms, and pools, or even residential apartments. It is common to spell out simple messages, or even do entire murals using preserved moss.Does Preserved Moss Grow? The answer is no. To preserve plants, sap is replaced by a chemical that maintains them in perfect condition for a really long time. That’s why no preserved product is able to grow. How Long Does Preserved Moss Last? The beauty of using preserved moss is that it requires no maintenance, but still adds a green touch and element of freshness to your space. What Is the Difference Between Preserved Moss and Dried Moss? Dried moss is at the dormant state and will lose its green color over time. However, when rehydrated it will return to life and start growing again. Preserved moss is no longer alive and has been chemically treated to maintain its feel and allure. How is Preserved Moss Used in Interior Décor? A beautiful addition to your home, office or business, hanging moss circles can be displayed alone or arranged in creative groups of different sizes. Regardless, the simplicity of this piece makes it sure to light up any space where it’s placed and is guaranteed to catch everyone’s attention. Preserved moss adds color, life, and texture to any message or image. As artists at the forefront of botanical design, Plant the Future has outfitted numerous homes, apartments, hotels, businesses, agencies, pools, gyms, and spas with custom moss installations that help them connect with guests or customers.

Nice amount for the money... BUT
you get a decent amount of the moss for the money, BUT i do not think these have natural color... if you get them wet, the color bleeds out of them and will stain what ever you have them sitting in.. for me it was an air plant terrarium, and it stained the sand in the terrarium with this odd blue color. makes me wonder what they used to color the moss and whether or not the coloring is safe and non-toxicif you intend on using this for the same purpose I did, watch the moisture exposure.. it will destroy the color of your soil or planting medium.

Dyed or sprayed with neon paint. Color bleeds all over
Don’t waste your money thinking you’re buying something naturally preserved. As soon as it’s placed in water it bleeds it’s neon green spray paint. It should be really clearly written that this product is coated in dye or paint.

Love this moss!!! Superior quality As pictured
Exactly what I wanted. Perfect sizes, shapes and textures. Well worth the money.I really like the look of these rocks. I already came back to this seller a couple times. They are exactly as described and pictures. They do not shed and look real. I am using them as rocks and boulders in my miniature fairy garden. They are not made for outdoors, but I have sealed them with a top coat to see how they hold up. They look so real and are perfect for my needs if they hold up.

Perfect!
This moss is so much better than what you can get at the craft store. I tried the dried stuff first but it just flaked everywhere and I couldn’t get clumps. I bought this after seeing the video of the man squishing it. It was super spongy! I hot glued a lot of pieces down. I preferred the tips that were more fine, and cut a lot of the “branches” off. I think it turned out perfect! And I have about half of a bag of “branches” to gift to someone else.
