Out of the box it started to leak
I brought the tank home from the gas station the vent was open only two and a half gallons below the recommended fill line when I opened the tailgate gas was all over leaking out of the fuel gauge the vent was not working at all I had to literally open the cap to relieve the pressure very disappointed because it fits in my Whaler

Leaks due to vent
Does not vent well/at all. I cut the red rubber piece under the vent screw, and that appears to help; if not, the tank won't vent and leak everywhere.
