Blood Lad-Complete Series [DVD ONLY]

I really liked this anime needs more episodes and a second season

It's a great story line but the dvd only covers the first 3 books in the 9 book series its a shame they didn't finish rest of it so you can watch it and some of the books are hard to get or expensive now

Absolutely loved this anime. Bought on a whim and ended up watching the whole thing in two days. DVD quality was excellent as are the special features. Highly recommend!

Absolutely AMAZING anime that is way too under the radar. It has a great cast of big name VA that I can't believe how little promotion it got and you have to actually go digging to find this gem. Bryce Pappenbrook is one of my favorite VA and I was going through his anime titles and found this and figured I'd check it out. It's got Johnny Yong Bosch in it and even Todd Habberkorn.The story is demon type characters in an alternate world that has a human girl shoved into it. She ends up dying 15 minutes in and become a ghost. The whole plot is based around Staz, a vampire, vowing to return her to her body and her own world. It's got fan service; but, nothing totally inappropriate. My only complaint is where it ends as it is a HUGE cliffhanger. There is a mange, which I also high recommend, though and you can continue on from there. The plot follows pretty closely to the manga, which I love. IT's only 10 episodes and 1 OVA so it's not a super long time commitment and I think it's a great unknown anime that most people would enjoy.

I loved this as it was an impulse buy and I didn't expect it to be so good but the art was great, the storyline was funny...mostly and I can recommend this to any fan of good Japanese animation although the CGI is unnecessary as it detracts from the lively and skilled hand-drawn animation. Thank you for a fine product.

Its fun to watch a parallel world that operates on selfishness, while seeing how a vampire tries to revive a dead human for unknown reasons. At times silly, but always fun. Its just a shame that the show was cut short.

Purchased because I saw it on Hulu, then found out there was an OVA episode that wasn't on the streaming episode list, as it's only on the discs.The multi-format DVD/BR version has the extra item booklet, not the DVD ONLY version.Only opened because I thought it included the booklet; it only has the dvds.

This one is a cute comedy that gets a little meta with its take on japan-ophiles and otakus from other countries as the main character is from Hell but adores Japanese culture and otaku-like media. It's basically about him and a JK who derp around Japan and Hell getting into shenanigans and mischief. Very cute!

Wanted more episodes. Some parts were dissapointing.

I watched this anime on the computer and I loved it now I'm so happy I can have it in my home
