I like everything about this lens kit, the quality of the kit is superb and I have already used it in the field and it works great and produces a beautiful finished product!

Overall, it's a good bundle. I don't expect to be taking pictures of anything moving. But it should suit my purposes fine. Can't beat the price.

This is a great bundle for someone just starting to photograph from longer distances. The manual lens forces the photographer to use their knowledge about lighting and aperture to get the desired photo.My wife also bought this bundle for her camera and the pictures she gets are amazing!

Telescope attachment does not screw on the adaptor

A long zoom lens with a ton of accessories that doesn't require a second mortgage on your house. Not likely to give you professional quality photos.It's 100% manual (no auto focus) and each shot takes time to setup. Not good for sports/action photography.Great fun for hobby photographers!Tripod is junk. You'll want something else. It's better suited for a cell phone camera or tiny digital point and shoot camera.Filters are handy and have nice storage cases!Backpack is small and handy for short trips out. I was pleasantly surprised and glad to have something smaller than my main (heavy!) gear bag but still holds a few extra lens & accessories.I haven't played with the 800-1600 adapter yet or the macro filters but am 100% satisfied with the lens and bag for what I paid.It came with a T to F mount adapter and I have used it with an old Nikon D50.

Definitely something that you have to play with to get the right focus! Will be using for still shots for now!

Let's start with the lens. The lens comes with an F MOUNT adapter, not a Z as stated in the ad, and takes decent enough pictures until you zoom.Now, I like manual lenses, my favorite is a 400mm manual, but trying to focus with this thing is like trying to perform surgery. There is maybe half a mm where your images will come put sharp. This lens might better fit the $80 price point.Next is the teleconverter. While yes, it definitely doubles your focal range, it also more than halfs image quality. I can't think of a single use for this trash.Next, the filters. I was sent 2 packs of the macro filters, because quality control isn't a thing at Amazon. Regardless, all these filters did was completely destroy the image quality. Have you ever looked into a cloud? These filters are the next best thing.Next, the tripod. Oh my god, the tripod. This is the cheapest, most godawful thing I have ever used. It's made of the cheapest tin money can buy, and completely hollow. The vertical and horizontal locks are complete garbage and will move the camera while you're tightening them, and I don't just mean a little. Honestly, I was afraid the thing would collapse under the weight of my camera and the lens.The backpack is decent. Getting the dividers set up was a bit of a hassle, but once they're in, the bag is great.TLDR; The lense and the bag are good, just not $170 w/taxes good. The rest of the set is absolute trash that nobody who respects themselves or their work would ever actually use.Ps. To settle Amazon's request:Image stabilization - onePicture quality - 4/10Value for money - 2/10

This thing is not practical at all , no auto-focus, no stabilization... at such long focal length you can not take even one decent photo with this lens. Also do not be fooled by the looks or tons of accessories coming with it, not valuable at all.

Bought just for fun, something to play around with. If you know what your doing it is great, at 800 - 1600mm picture quality is ok but you have to keep in mind at this distance air quality is going to be a big factor at this distance. Value for the money, 100% great value. Taking pictures at this distance for the price is great fun. Next some moon pictures.
