Yeah, That's Gonna Be A Definitive "No" On This Charger!
Just received this charger today as a replacement for the standard Apple charger for my 2014 MacBook Pro. It takes forever to charge the laptop battery to full. You can plug it in, go get breakfast, run around the block a few times, take a flight to Seattle and back, do your taxes, handle a complete engine overhaul of 1975 AMC Pacer, have dinner, read a bedtime story to your children, plant a garden - and it will still be trying to charge the flippin' MacBook battery to 100%. It also gets dangerously hot. I'm talking like "strolling across the surface of Mercury on a summer day wearing three layers of long johns" hot. I may keep the charger just to use it in the winter to cut down on my heating bills. Of course the asbestos gloves I will have to order on Amazon in order to hold the darn thing will offset any savings I will see on my electric bill. I might as well send it back and order the official "holy crap it costs the same amount as the GDP of a small island nation" Apple charger. The long and short of it - don't buy this charger unless you need a really slow hand warmer!

Fire Hazard + Sparks = ?
Purchase item for an apple product just started using it two weeks ago not only a fire hazard but it sparks when you plug in to power source.

Watch the green/red light to blink. Might be faulty
Worked great the first time….then noticed my screen started dimming and getting brighter. Kept charging then not charging while plugged in and not being moved. Disappointing and will be returning. 🙁

Cord lasted almost 1 year, but then separated.
This charger worked great for just over 10 months, but then the wiring at the base of the charging head began to separate. It is now unusable.
