Not stainless steel
These are very sharp knives. After sitting in the sink overnight rust started to form. These are not stainless or they are very poor quality metal.

Nice set
The knives and block are nice looking and the knives are sharp. They feel good in my hand. The one thing that I was disappointed in was 1 knife didn't fit into slot all the way so it sticks up higher. None of bigger knives fit into the slot and smaller ones are too small for this slot so I know it is right one for this one knife. I added a picture to show knife sticking up higher. Other then that I like the set.

for price, it's fine. they're good, not great. useful for short term while I look for better knives.
they do the job. not very dishwasher friendly as they show discoloration on blades pretty quickly. definitely better to hand wash only.

big disappointment
knives very very thin. had it 3/4 days, a few steak knives bent already. i’m returning.co. seems to have lowered their quality. i’ve bought 2 knife blocks from them over the yrs to know the difference.
