Size to line diameter - Read before you buy
First, these stops work fine. Not the most friction as some of the others I've bought, but acceptable and useful. So, price to value is very high. Now for the size, I tried the small ovals for 4 pound ice fishing line. That was a mistake. There's just not enough interior surface area to hold it's place on the line. Switch to 6 pound mono and it's much better, but not perfect. So, for mono - flourocarbon 6 pound or less I'd definitely go with the large size. At least in the ovals. The medium non-ovals seem to have about the same gripping value as the large oval. Of course they don't cast or come in through the eyes as well as the ovals.Use the small sizes (oval and non-oval) for 12 pound mono or larger. They will hold well enough to be useful. For 8-12 I'd suggest at least the medium and large will work the best.

They make all the difference.
These things are amazing. They really do help produce the perfect action when Texas rigging. Without them, it just looks silly. At Academy, you can buy 9 of these for $1.99, or you can get 600 here for $7.49. Pretty easy choice. Make sure you know your line diameter. I mic'd mine before ordering just to be sure. First time out with these, I caught my new personal best, with a BPS ribbon tail. Picture provided. I would say that I will buy these again, but I dont think I could use 600 in a lifetime. Amazing value. And that 1 star review makes absolutely no sense. That guy clearly has no idea what these are for.

A Must Have For Bass Fishing
I got turned onto these by a salesman at Bass Pro and this is the first time I purchased them online. I was worried about the fit but I bought the Small size ovals for 10lb flourocarbon line and they fit perfectly. Tight enough that they don't move around. They make fishing so much easier. My weights used to always get loose after a little while and slide down to the base of the hook, these work perfectly to keep the weight where it should be and the fish on my hook.

Small size will not their position on 20 lb braid
Looked like a great deal and the reviews are strong. I mainly use 20 lb braid and I bought the small size. They slip on 20 lb braid very easily. I set them at 10 feet and after a day out on the water they have slipped to 5 feet. Since they don't hold their position, they are useless, thus, 1 star. (If you are using braid heavier than 20'lb they may work fine as they will probably do so on mono).

Good but very small
I really like these things. BUT for some applications, such as holding in place large sinkers with big openings, I want this exact item in a much bigger size. I bought a hundred of the medium, then bought a hundred of the large, which are only slightly bigger than the mediums. Great, so now I own 200 of these things that are too small. I'm going to try doubling them up, which might do the trick. Wish they were offered in a XXL!!!

Not just a bobber stop!
They may be bobber stops, but I use them as a style of bumper on the line of a snelled hook. Don’t have a solid reason why, but it doesn’t seem to bother the “Cats”, they seem to only be critical of the bait. They also work great as a bobber stop. Another use (Untried) May be as a sinker stop when fishing a Carolina Rig with a light weight sinker, it would would make tweeking the sinker to bait line length as well a elimate a swivel. 🎣

Excellent knot protection
I've picked up a couple new UL Baitcaster rods with super tiny guides. So tiny that not even the small 2mm tippet rings can fit through. Problem with such tiny guides is that when they strike a knot they weaken it. These bumpers only fit small lines, say 0.30mm at max. They aren't big enough to slide over the knot either but they work great. Lifetime supply for me and a buddy or two.

Great Deal And Functionality
I purchased the small size to use on my 20lb braid. It fits great and holds my bullet weights for Texas Rigging. I just went to Cabelas this past weekend and saw a package of these with 1 ring of ~10 bobber stops that they were selling for $5. That is insane!! You get 100 rings, each with 6 bobber stops, so 600 total. I don't think I will need to order more for a very long time. I will, however, be ordering them in the medium size for fall. One thing I will mention is I tried using a 3/16th ounce brass bullet weight and the diameter of the hole that the line goes through was just about the size of the small bobber stop, so it got wedged in there a bit. It still worked and held it just fine, but keep that in mind if you are using larger weights with the small bobber stops. I did not have this problem with any of my Tungsten weights that I've tried (1/8 and 1/4 ounce). Overall, I am very happy with this purchase!

Brilliant
I've never used this type of thing before. It's a particular American device. It's brilliant. Can't understand why it's not popular in Australia.
