This skirt is so cute. It's made out of a very nice material. It fits my 14yo daughter really well.

I am 4’9, 128 pounds. My waist measures 28 inches and my hips 36 inches. I went ahead and got the Medium ( a size up according to my measurements) using the “regular size” chart. I was hoping that by getting a medium instead of a small, it would sit a few inches lower than my belly button. It DOES fit, however the top part only fits around my waist and doesnt ride as low as I’d have liked. I would definitely recommend going up a size or two depending on your own measurements, especially if you’d prefer it to sit lower than your belly button. It also does not stretch at all. Thankfully I plan on losing about 10 more pounds which will allow me to pull the skirt down a bit more. As for length, it’s perfect on me, even if I were to pull it down a few inches later on when I’m able to. The bottom of the skirt comes down to about the middle of my thigh but keep in mind I’m only 4’9” tall. If I DO bend over too far you can definitely see my underwear, but once I’m able to hike it down a bit it shouldn’t be an issue.I also just barely have an ass. If you have a booty or if you’re really tall (or both) then it’s going to be MUCH shorter on you.Besides the fit being a little inaccurate, the quality is awesome. Good material, looks exactly like the picture. I got the red plaid pleat with the black lace peeking from the bottom. No weird smell like others have described, and it arrived on the exact day estimated. (I do have prime so that might have been why.) Absolutely love it, will definitely be ordering more in the future in different colors.

Gorgeous quality kilt, but I am returning it because the fit wasn't right on me. I measured myself and tried to balance the size I ordered (L) against the reviews and the size chart, but this skirt just didn't fit me properly -- it was fine around the waist, and seemed to be okay at the hip, but it looked shorter in the back than in the front, so I ended up returning it. (For reference, my waist is 32", my hips are 41.5".)A shame, as it is well-made, with that little peep of lace at the hemline and a wool-blend fabric that's like a heavy flannel -- I could have worn it straight out of the bag. I really, really wanted this garment to work.I am still mulling over ordering it in size XL instead, which would be a better fit for my hips, and then altering the waist to fit, but that seems a lot of work for a brand-new garment....

This just arrived and I had to try it on! It’s made of really good quality, and the details really pull it together. I’m talking about the details on the petticoat that comes attached and peaks through in the bottom. And the belt that comes with it and embellishments and a fuax fur bobble on the end. The belt is a bit large when I looked through the belt loops, so I’ll what or if I do anything to alter that, it just hangs a lil’ loosely. When not in the loops it’s bangs beautifully. I can’t get over the quality! And the pattern of the tartan pattern and the amazing color. I got this for the Highlander Games coming up here in Vegas nextMonth and I couldn’t be happier. I normally wear a size small, I’m 5’5 128 pounds, and a 36DD. I ordered a medium just to be safe, and it fits very modestly with plenty of room for movement and comfort. I’m sure a small Would fit nicely for a sexier look, but I wanted to be conservative as this is a family event. I still needTo figure out the top situation but that should come easily now that the hard part is done. Hope this helps, now go order the skirt!

The skirt arrived in a plastic bag as most items do.. however, it had been packaged into that bag with some sort of white clumpy powder spilled on the skirt. It mostly flaked off the fabric except for one chunk which was stuck to the fabric. I won’t know how well it washes off until I run it through the wash. No idea WHAT the substance is but it discolored the metal on the belt. Just above the furry ball, it looks awful. Sure, there are ways to fix/hide that but for a brand new item, I should not have to. All that said, the skirt itself is great and the fabric feels much more high quality than I’d expected. For the price, I can work with the issues I’ve mentioned. I just want everyone to know what to possibly expect upon opening the package.

First of all, this skirt is amazing. The material is nice, just the right thickness. The skirt's seams are well sewn, and surprisingly, the inside of the skirt is lined. In addition, the frilly edge that extends down past the hem of the skirt is not just sewn to the hem but is part of an attached slip. The zipper also appears to be of good quality. Overall, I'm really impressed at the quality and look of this skirt.However, the included belt and fuzzbob give almost the exact opposite impression. The belt itself seems made of leather, but poorly treated and rough. The metal hardware was actually corroded in several places. The fuzzbob appears to be made from authentic fur taken from an unknown but probably previously sick animal, and was not only disagreeably smelly but also had patches of fur falling out, giving it an uneven and unflattering aspect. In addition, the length of the belt was almost the same as the skirt's waist, so it didn't hang at all like shown in the picture, but was much tighter (though certainly not too tight) around the waist. Not that it mattered, though, because the belt and fuzzbob went directly to the garbage can.But I'm definitely keeping the skirt.

Order one size up from what you are. Fits perfectly if you do. These are Asian Sizes , The fabric of this skirt has no stretch which i was ok with because it has a very flattering flat waistband. I have been looking for a red and black plaid skirt that looks rich and good quality without the high price tag and I FINALLY FOUND IT ! I am very happy with this skirt. It is a little bit long ( but i am only five foot 3 ). But its ok becuase i want to wear this during the daytime not just the club. I am going to pair this with black tights , black booties and a black cropped turtle neck sweater for Xmas dinner. So happy with this . BUY IT NOW

Bought this one in Xl. I am usually a large. The XL was really thight and I had to wear it right under my breast for it to fit. So I bought an XXL and it was so large I had to sow it thighter
