I put it into that exact case, works perfectly.

There are 4 SATA ports on the mainboard that will work with 2.5/3.5" HDD/SSD and even 5.25" ODD. The big issue is whether your case can support all these type of drives directly or through an adapter

Q: Will this work with Ryzen 3 2000g straight out of the box or will it need a bios update?

this motherboard chipset is second generation, so it will work with any second generation ryzen prossesor, as the Ryzen 3 2200g
