This new design is super dumb 🙄 **Q: Which product has a stronger hold, this balm or the Original Sprout gel?** A: I think this one. I use the gel for my son's hair but this one is better for braiding or holding hair in place for braids or ponytails. **Q: Can this product be use on beard and mustache** A: I personally do not use products other than oil on my beard, however, I have used it on my hair and don't see any reason why not. It has a decent hold, it's not greasy and It's made from natural products. The smell leaves something to be desired, but that can be remedied with some essential oils. **Q: I want to give my son a mohawk. She also has lots of baby hairs and this tamed the fly always. She does gymnastics and cheer and we need to be able to get her hair in a tight and clean ponytail and bun as well. This does a great job of getting that sleek style and holding it during meets and competitions. She jumps, flips and is thrown in the air and this still holds. We are in our second year using it and it still works great. When I go to wash it out I wash and rinse twice to get it all out. Not hard to get out but sticky so just to be sure we got it all.
