Nice seat but, very small.

Surprisingly comfortable for a hard bamboo stool, bought to use in a bathtub where getting in and out is difficult. Stool is roughly 14in long and roughly the same height, tall enough to be level with the lip of a standard bathtub. The bamboo is finished well, with no splintering/sharp/rough edges on the seat or areas you are most likely to interact with. The build quality is reasonable, with no flexing parts, and seems to hold weight just fine. The screws appear to be steel, but also appear to be treated, and have not rusted (yet) after being exposed to water after a couple of weeks. The only other drawback is the "sliding" mechanism of the stool uses a bolt in a groove that was crooked, so only time will tell how long that will last. All in all a good value for the price, and much more "compact" and sturdy than a lot of the plastic "shower" stools you get elsewhere.

A little small, but good quality and very handy in the shower

Our house is not large, so I'm always looking for items that serve more than one purpose. I can use this sturdy, attractive little stool as an extra seat for child or small adult, a table for drink or food, a footstool, and a stool to stand on to for a higher reach. It folds nicely and can be stored away in a small space. It would fit any casual room and would not be unusably out of place in any but a very formal interior. I don't remember what it cost, but I do know it was little enough that I was happy to buy it on a whim. And I'm glad I did.

HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. The legs had to be readjusted and sawed then glued just to get them to fit into the lower shelf piece because it wasn't metered properly by the manufacturer. Making it extremely difficulty to assemble. Once I got it fitted it has held up well in the shower and proved to be very functional. Very sturdy and looks quite nice as well.

I was looking for a bath stool because of upcoming knee surgery. This looked good and I checked the dimensions so that I knew it fit my tub and was high enough. It seems that they measured the stool in it's folded position so when opened it was inches shorter and not adequate for my purposes. So sorry to say I am returning it. Otherwise it seemed nice and sturdy.

Understand you are ordering a SMALL foot stool and you will be happy. Please READ the DESCRIPTION CLOSELY… its small, low but constructed very well. Fits easily inside a tub or shower. If in a tub… its a FOOTSTOOL. Its not for sitting on. It is perfect for shaving legs, painting toe nails, holding shower soaps etc. I gave a small Maltese and she sits on it so I can more easily reach to bathe her. NOT what its for bit it works and hs some versitility.
