Excellent, just get one.
I'd read a few things about magnetic flexi build plates for resin printers for a while, but been a bit reticent about getting one.I should not have been.I have an Elegoo Mars Pro that I got around May 2020. Printing has been good, but sometimes the plate adhesion was a little TOO good. Elegoo's water-washable black resin in particular was extremely difficult to remove and even with the other resins, a raft was always needed if I didn't want to spend 15 mins chiselling the print off the plate, sometimes damaging the print and frequently scoring the plateSo this arrived the other day, and I pulled on my big-boy pants and stuck the magnety thing to the plate (after a good old clean with IPA.) First thing to note; it's not 100% perfectly sized/shaped to the build plate, maybe 0.5-1mm oversized, and I did think about trimming it to size, but figured, so long as it stays put, more magnet to hold the plate in place is more important. I then left it about 24 hrs for the glue to cure. (It's a 3M branded sticky sheet, so no chance of the resin flowing into gaps etc and making life messier.)So, time for bed levelling. Some printers need to have the z-limit switch moved and spacers added to account for the extra thickness of the magnet and metal sheet., but the original Mars Pro does not appear to need that. I popped the metal plate on and pressed the edges to a flat surface to make sure the plate was aligned, and screwed the plate in place and levelled the plate as I normally would using the sheet of paper method. There is sufficient "play" in the ball-joint to account for the additional thickness, but it was close. The first time I tried, the printer complained that I needed to Home the plate before setting Z=0 so it must not have hit the switch, but loosening the plate, moving the Z axis another 3-4mm lower allowed me to set Z=0 fine.I was then able to print away exactly as I did before. You could even get away with not removing the build-plate, just remove the metal plate, but reattaching it straight might be tricky. In any case, removing prints is SO easy, I did a few prints and was still using rafts, but can do without the bevelled sidewall now. Just a slight flex of the plate and you can just peel the print off, I didn't even need a plastic scraper, let alone a metal one. I have yet to try the black resin that I had issues with, but I don't anticipate a problem anymore.I wish I'd got one of these a long time ago, it's already improved my post-processing and I think it's one of those quality of life things that should be on all printers.

Works great
Not to sure why others are having issues but it works fine easy to install. if you understand how to use a printer then you should understand how to make any adjustments needed when adding new stuff to it.

PLEASE READ. Experienced user.
Buyer beware.I'm am experienced user when it comes to 3D printing as I utilise it daily in my work (film/TV).This is a cheap product and I knew that there could be risks when I got it. I have another saturn that came with a wham bam fitted and figured I'd get a second plate and this one was getting decent reviews.I removed my build plate and cleaned it thoroughly by leaving it to soak overnight in isopropyl alcohol. Next day it was scrubbed with a sanding pad to remove any build up of residue. Hot water and degreaser next and then an alcohol wipe. I left it to dry completely by a warm radiator before applying the adhesive side of the magnetic strip and then I left it a further 24 hours to allow the adhesive to fully grip the aluminium build plate. After two small prints it peeled completely off the build plate and crashed down, piercing the FEP and damaging my LCD panel. On inspection of the build plate and the magnetic strip it seems the extremely thin film of glue wasn't enough to keep it held in place. So although this plate is indeed cheaper than wham bam....it clearly shows why.Avoid.

Absolute game changer
Ever fought to remove a print especially parts of a failed print from your build plate? Looking to save time doing boring post print routines, get a flex plate. It makes such a difference, I'm dyspraxic so I can't count the amount of times I've over scrapped a build plate tearing though my gloves to make a nice gash on my hands.. Since having a flex plate my hands aren't covered in small self inflicted print removal wounds. Now they won't help you dial in exact settings, but there's plenty of online guides with stls on how to do that, and don't forget to recalorbrate your printer once its installed, but I wouldn't go back to not having a build plate now, it makes such a difference and removes some of the more difficult aspects of resin printing, I can go straight from the plate into a wash and then to curing.Only sad thing is I had a resin leak which damaged my LCD screen so my printing is on hold until I order and install a replacement.

Very good for the price. But Watch the tab
Yep. Compared to what some places are asking this is a very good price. But ... there is a protruding tab; probably to help you peel the build plate off the magnet. Please ensure that the tab is located toward the inside of the printer else; ... it will bang into your resin tray on the way down and you will be very very unhappy. But the whole thing seems to work well.

Best accessory ever
It fits my Mars 3 pro fine, it does reduce the build volume a little but is a small price to pay for the ease of use in removing prints, prints stick well.

If your planning on filling the build plate, don't bother with this
This adhesive for the flexplate is so weak it couldn't even manage to survive 1 initial burnout later before it detached from the build plate. If you're only doing 1 or 2 models which take up less than 50% of the build plate you might be alright.
